For a cheap motel, you don’t expect perfection. We traveled 5.5 hours for a concert, just wanted somewhere close, and affordable, to the venue. This definitely checked the boxes. At check in, the person up front was quick and informative. In the parking lot, we were immediately approached by a gentleman trying to sell socks body spray and deodorant. Went up to our room, which was extremely cold from the air conditioner (we loved it!) immediately hit with smoke smell. The door safety lock doesn’t line up, and the frame is pretty thick so we had to really put out body weight into opening / closing the door. The floor was a bit broken in places and pretty sticky. The bathroom door didn’t shut; you couldn’t even turn the knob? Overall the place has gotten the “landlord special paint job” so that’s probably why. We didn’t have a need for the shower but probably wouldn’t have, given above the shower is just a lightbulb hanging, and loose wires. The sink / counter / mirror was 10/10 for getting ready. The fridge wasn’t cold at first, we adjusted the dial, and in the morning our drinks were super cold! There was no trashcan anywhere, but we had some extra bags we used for anything we needed to chuck and threw them in the dumpster before leaving. We had a king size bed: only two small pillows given, with just some sheets, no top blanket. There is a mattress protector on which is comforting, but also you hear the plastic when you move. Luckily we had some blankets in the car to sleep a little more cozy. No bugs seen, we investigated everywhere. VERY limited on outlets. A tag to hang in your car for parking which was free. Check out in the morning was super easy; just gave my key in. The woman was pleasant. We also found a close beach in the morning to see the ocean before our 5.5h drive back home! Overall would book again; just things to be prepared for!!
Under new management! Renovating rooms. Very nice. Good place for a few days. Staff is very accommodating. They will do what they can for a pleasant stay .
The rooms were gross the tub didn't drain the air conditioning didn't work sweated all night if u need a place just to lay your head for a night but other than that I give tgis place 1 1/2 stars ughhh
Im going to say it’s quiet the staff are friendly I always have a good experience I highly recommend
no towels, trash cans and the floor was so sticky and dirty never again will stay in a Econo Lodge again was really disappointed ☹️☹️
Main guy is a jerk. Rude, no respect rooms are worth $50 at most. Gave room service old towels, never came back with new ones. Called front desk and the rude guy says I have to come down to the office... I have arthritis and a service dog... find a different hotel, trust me.. I travel all 48 states and this hotel isn't worth it, especially with a rude guy who can barely speak English and tells someone with a service dog and arthritis they have to come get their own towels after he forgot to bring new ones... bad area, dirty rooms... the lady at front desk who had to help the rude guy understand me was the only pleasant part of the hotel. Don't stay here.
The room smelled like weed. The floor was so dirty that walking on it made the sheets dirty. The sheets were stained if not just unclean. The walls had something stuck to them on one wall and the other was filthy and covered in not just dirt but something else. The bathroom was small and dingy. It looks like they were trying to make it nice but missed the mark. The woman who checked me in was very nice but did not even know where our room was because it is not the hotel she usually works at.
Asked front desk for extra towel and washcloth around 9pm and was told that only housekeeping could give them to us so we would have to wait until morning.....rooms are Overpriced , service was terrible and the room was not worth the price
Excellent, friendly staff at the Coleman Nursery exhibit! I have fond childhood memories from seeing the collection, and this year I learned how the magical stories for its present-day curators continue.
One of the cutest places. The food was amazing, the coffee was perfect. The prices were not too shabby especially compared to other coffee places. Will definitely be back. Parking can be tricky. We went before an event started and got parking. When w
This Museum maybe be small but itâs full of amazing history covering Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and the Norfolk Greater Area from the Colonial Era to today. The Museum also includes a tour of a lighthouse ship the Portsmouth during warm weather.
This place was exceptionally good. The atmosphere is very calming and chill. We had a reservation and got seated on time. The food is tapas style, so small sharable plates. Protein sizes around about 4 to 5 ounces a plate. My wife and I got 6 food i
It was very easy to buy tickets online. The staff was super friendly. My daughter had so much fun exploring and playing in the museum. The second floor was closed the day we went, but we still enjoyed it and were there for hours.
Super unique spot. Like stepping back in time. Great german menu. So hard to choose. Brings me back to my childhood. Tasty food. Friendly service. Highly recommended.
