Economy Inn - Featured Reviews (165)
Any time economy is in a name, and it was a 2 star establishment, you dont expect much, but we were just staying one night and cheap was the way we wanted to go, and the place had good reviews. I am very impressed with our stay. Check in was quick and staff friendly. Room looks like it may be dated, but really, its more funky and retro and smelled clean, great water pressure, hot water and a decently comfortable bed. Throw in a microwave, fridge, cable and wifi and we feel this place is a pleasant surprise and deserving of the good reviews.
I usually stay here often when I need to spend the night in Farmington. Always a quick check-in, beds are comfy and cable TV. What more do you need? I always enjoy my stay.
The room has a funky sixties vibe. It was clean & fresh. The manager allowed me to check in 1 hr. early to shower as I'd been on the road 2 days & 2 days at Bisti Doing photography. I was dusty! Thanks yall
A 5 star review on a 2 star hotel… the only place walking distance to “downtown”, with a great brewery nearby. Rooms are vintage funky!
We stayed one night while in town for work. This is a decent budget motel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything worked and it was quiet. The rooms have a mini fridge & microwave. Great location near downtown & stores. |Good room for the price. |
I stayed one night and liked their non-smoking room. It is very clean without any bad smell. The bed is comfortable enough for one quick stay. The water pressure is strong and the water temperature is hot. The air conditioner worked well.
Fantastic hot water, heating, air conditioning, fridge, and cleaning. Solid basics. Nice on site owners. Super cool authentic vintage decor. Park free right outside your door. No hassle with elevators or stairs. Located within easy walking distance to some very good, busy restaurants with short wait times, and a cool coffee shop/art gallery! Both trade workers and travelers stay here. Bring your own iron and hair dryer if needed. On the downside, not all rooms have kitchenettes and those book up. Also, that section of the downtown main street sidewalks are eerily deserted in the early mornings and on weekends when most downtown businesses are closed except for a gym and the restaurants. We saw a few transients on the street while out walking. Auto traffic picks up in the afternoons and the hotel fills up!
Clean, comfortable, pleasant staff. It was an older place but kept up nicely. No carpet! Affordable. Historic downtown Farmington is in walking distance. Recommend.
