Better than I hoped. It's inexpensive, so be realistic. Front desk lady was nice, they clean the rooms, all the heating and hot water was good. Just what I was looking for.
No good first time going to this place and they stuck me in the hole in the wall room you can open up the door without the key. Never go there again
What an mazing place to stay. From booking our room, to arrival and departure everything was perfect. We had the best time getting some rest and felt like family after meeting the owner. Bryan made us feel right at home and was extremely attentive to us and even took the time to go over all of the wonderful renovations and future plans he has made for this gem of a place. This is a place you must must stay when traveling through the area.
Friendly staff. Outdated rooms bright green walls. could bleach sheets n towels(1 per the person) to get rid of stains the bed was hard and only 1 super soft pillow per person to try to get comfortable with .the box spring could be updated to get rid of the stain on it. Not bad on price but u get apparently what u pay for.. nonrefundable..
The room was clean! Spacious and came with a microwave and a mini fridge Front desk sells cigarillos ;) For a fraction of the cost at other places in the area for 5 nights, this was the best possible move for us Dudes that run it are super cool too
The going rate for this hotel is $40 to $45 per night. The people that run it are friendly. The room was clean, but the A/C was not on when I arrived so it took a wile to cool the room down. I had a little trouble getting the shower to work but I managed. Like I said, there are no frills here, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was less than $45 so how can I complain! If you are looking for a cheap nights sleep, you could do worse.
Brian the owner is doing a great job of bringing the old Jewel of a motel back to its former glory. There is constant Improvement going on and with the exception of the parking lot everything is in great shape. They are slowly but surely reworking the plumbing and electrical systems. This makes for an economical albeit cheap hotel 2xist and me constant use
Casual dining area with plenty of indoor and a couple of outdoor seating. Walked in and was greeted by two friendly people (likely the owners). I ordered the cajun fried catfish sandwich ($10.16) which is their best seller. Very good! I Fresh fried
I got to see the very last Flamethrower Day show: the second unplanned showing because so many people showed up that they couldn't accept everyone for the posted show...or everyone left after the first unplanned show. We got about 30 total seconds of
