They were very disrespectful. After I rented a room the front desk guy called police and told them I was in the warning for do not return. When i left the hotel they were in my hotel room without my consent and keep coming in with a key and only knocked once after they told me to leave the premises they told me to leave my phone number because they said I was a loyal customer its not worth your money and they invade your space and privacy and are rude and made me feel unwanted. I would never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel because there was a incident they happend and they weren't too friendly they were hostile.

Was a clean room. Hot shower. Exactly what I expected. There is a small, quiet bar on site.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting! They need new carpet, updated furniture, new fresh paint on the walls and not to mention a Generator!?? If you wanna go to a nasty cheap room then go but it needs a lot of work!!! Should be shut down then upgraded.

Worst hotel around here, bed bug/roach infested I worked there and pat only managed to keep staying open is because he was paying people off but turns around and pat gets sued. this hotel needs shut down.

Stayed 10/20/2022 Bed was sunk in middle, linens were old and tattered which is not a major thing. However when you turned on lights during the night or morning, the critters scattered quickly. Cockroaches in sink, on counter, on walls in bathroom and in the tub. When told desk clerk and owner at checkout owner said we take care of today with bug bomb. I got no apology of any type !

I usually stay here a lot for afternoons and checkout but this particular visit I decided to stay overnight and checkout the next morning. We left the room for maybe 4-5 hours to handle errands and came back to a man sleeping in our room late that night. They had sold our room to someone else that quick. They didn't even apologize or explain why. The man at the desk just told me that he'd only just started working there.

My experience at this hotel was a disaster! I recently worked at the Kankakee County Fair. I booked this hotel on Tuesday, July 28 because it's a five minute drive from the fairgrounds. I was called by Economy Inn Friday morning and asked to give my credit card number to hold the room. I gave them the credit card number and specifically told them I would be arriving very late on Friday. I arrived their very tired, after working a 13 hour day, to be told they had NO MORE ROOMS AVAILABLE! THEY HAD GIVEN MY ROOM AWAY!! All of the nearby motels were booked AND BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCE I HAD TO SLEEP IN MY TRUCK! I returned to Economy Inn at 6:45am to catch the night clerk who knew of the horrible inconvience I was caused because of their error. I asked her if I could have a wash cloth and use their bathroom. They got a room ready for me by 8 am and charged me full pricefor it. By this time the owner shows up and does not offer an apology. He keeps saying they did not charge my card as if that was suppose to make up for their error. I told him I had to take a shower and get to work by 10am and closed the door. Upon arriving back to the room after 11pm there was a taped note from management on the television stating to come to the office to recieve half of my money back I had paid for the room. So I'm feeling a little better because I felt that was the very least they could do to compensate me for the inconvience they caused. I go to the office Sunday morning with the note to check out. The morning clerk reads the notes then calls the owner who tells her to give me only $15 back. I stated the note said half of the cost of the room. She stated atleast that's something back. I told her online reviews are a powerful tool when searching for a place to stay and I would put my experience with their hotel online.

The room was very clean, the front desk was very nice ,but I have work in house keeping for over 15 yrs & I can understand that you can have good days & bad days the the housekeeper that was assigned to my room had a attitude that day & wasn't very nice, I hope that she understands that not all guest are rude & snoody. Some of us guest have a lot going on but we still put on a smile, because if you think about it you have a job working with the public & that housekeeping is the ones that keep the hotels running. I hope that she has a better day. God bless you & thank you
