Economy Inn - Motel in Fort Dodge - 3003 5th Ave S, USA

Great place to stay at a very desirable price. Cheapest we found in the area. It’s close to gas station, fast food options and by the highway! The owner is very sweet and at the site whenever you need assistance, got to meet the family too, really sweet people :) Highly recommend!

Hard to get in a.d out during "rush hour" if you call it that in Fort Dodge, but the owners are amazing. They work with you on rates if need be. Stay a day, a week, a month, or a year. The best part is the people you meet that do refinery work seasonally. They have grilles and get together areas and it's kind of a camp ground bbq party on the weekends. Still have people I met here that I talk to.

This place is super clean and the guy the owners are good people. It’s the cheapest place to stay in town. They take care of the place and service your room daily. Replace towels clean the bathroom and take out the trash when you get the weekly rate most places only come by once a week. This place gives you full service at the weekly rate. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling for work on a budget.

Hello, I come before you as an experienced General Manager of hotels that knows the industry and as a guest of this wonderful establishment I am reviewing today. I came to Fort Dodge from Montana, moved me, my 5 children, and roommate to this location after suffering a devastating fire, to be a General Manager of the Days Inn. ||||After two weeks of working everyday, over 16 hour shifts a day, and working off the clock most of the time (all of which was expected and instructed by the area manager and owner of the hotel), I was terminated by Days Inn for not coming in on time when I wasn't even on the schedule (it was supposed to be my day off).||||They had been letting us stay on property and fired me days before Thanksgiving which was also my twins twelfth birthday and then made the cops remove us from property without even politely requesting us to first cuz I would have left willingly if they had. I endured so much more strong actions by this company that I plan on getting legal representation and taking legal action. ||||But after all that, my family and I came to the Economy Inn because we had nowhere to go and knew no one. The front desk worker was so amazing, courteous, polite, and compassionate. They worked with us and gave us an amazing room for an amazing deal (and I didn't even inform them of what had just happened to us; they are naturally of this nature). ||||The entire time we've stayed at this motel, they have performed some of the best service and customer service I have ever seen in the industry. They were attentive, prompt, efficient, courteous, accommodating, and extremely caring. Any concern I had (which was nil) was taken care of immediately and with the utmost care and consideration. ||||The wifi is phenomenal. The beds and bedding extremely comfortable. The furniture was in pristine condition as well as the interior of the room. Amenities were supplied daily and of good quality. Supplies and service regular and fully adequate and stocked. They even have NFC card readers for the doors. They have been so amazing and amenable, I believe this is the best motel stay I have ever experienced and honestly it was because of the genuine care and consideration they provided that made this experience beyond any of my expectations. The people that work here are worth so much for being such good people. I will always stay here in the future ana would recommend it to my sweet grandmother or anyone.

Don't look at the outer shell of the motel because when u open the door to the room..you are like,o.k! Room is clean, bed is clean, owner's are super friendly, even wash your clothes for a small fee. I had to get a weekly rate which was very reasonable compared to other places here. It's an over all good motel!

Stay away from this motel it is full of bed bugs the owner refuses to acknowledge the infestation and willingly rents the rooms out the customers after he's been informed of the infestation

The people that own this place are extremely nice! The room I stayed in for 4-5 weeks is as clean as you will find at any hotel. They come in every day and clean from top to bottom, very clean! I'm going back tomorrow and staying with them again! Room #18. JW

The manger and his wife are great ppl very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean I stayed two weeks here and they were very quick to help wit any problem I had. They made me feel like family so if ur looking for a great motel at a great price ur in the right spot. As far as the other reviews saying the room stunk I don't see it possible like I said I was there for two weeks and stayed in three different rooms never had any problems wit the rooms. Also this is a very kid friendly motel. I had my son wit me and he would wake up crying at night never had anyone say anything to be about how loud he was (trust me he ain't quite) unlike at the days inn acrossed the rd I was getting complaints at least once a day about my son..... Anyway I could just go on and on about this place I was actually sad to leave Caz they were all so friendly and nice I really enjoyed my stay here!!!!!!!!!!!
