This place was absolutely disgusting. From the very rude older man to the terrible rooms. Avoid at all costs.

We travel as we are retired and we stay at the most affordable motels. This motel is great for those looking for a simple clean and peaceful stay. Couldn’t ask for a more friendly staff as well as affordable rates. Rooms are nostalgic but very clean. They offer smoking rooms as well for those that are looking to enjoy a weekend watching movies and relaxing not having to jump up and go outside if it’s cold out. We would highly recommend this hotel to those that are looking for a affordable place to stay that is within walking distance to Walmart and most restaurants in town.

It's an older and budget hotel. The managers were very friendly and live on site. The AC didn't work properly, we asked to move. The manager first offered a fan so we wouldn't have to move. However, the room was hot. The second room the AC worked well but the bathroom wasn't as nice. Please keep in mind that this is a budget conscious hotel. 4 stars because the staff was wonderful.

Quality does not justify the nightly rate. Old, poorly maintained facility. Room needed a good scrub down starting in the bathroom. Bed was clean & comfortable. Parking directly in front of the rooms so every time someone locked/unlocked their car you got to enjoy the horn honking.

Didn’t pay a lot for this hotel but had to pay on arrival. The receptionist didn’t speak very good English and he basically just gave us our key (which was one single metal key) and told us our room number. The hotel advertised free WiFi but we were not given the password. I noticed a sign before we checked in saying ‘we can not be held responsible for allergies caused by the carpet or perfume’. My husband has allergies so was worried it would be rather dusty. We had an upstairs room and to be fair it was okay but very very basic. And hot. The room was sweltering and had a heater in the cupboard. The bed was comfortable and clean enough and the room had a brand new hd tv on the wall. The shower kind of looked like a prison shower with a glass panel but when we looked inside the tiles were all cracked and looked like you’d probably get warts if you stood on it. We didn’t use it. The location of the hotel was perfect. Alamogordo as a whole is quite nice and the hotel was located on a strip with lots of food choices and a Walmart just a couple hundred feet away.

Okay is not like me to criticize properties I do understand everybody's doing the best they can. But I had to travel to Alamogordo for work at the last minute and due to their situation in the city right now hotels were booked or show to be booked online. So I found the economy in, upon arrival it was after 10:00 p.m. staff did check me in she was very courteous and polite. After I got to my room that's when everything disintegrated. In short the bed was not cleanly made the floors were dirty the walls were filthy the bathroom was substandard and the countertops were just dirty and oily. Security you have a chain lock and a door knob in today's times a little bit more security should be added to hotel rooms. So I'm closing the property would be considered a c rating again I do believe the owners are trying and I commend them for that but on a sanitary level and public safety level this is not a good place. I wish them well and hopefully this helps them see some possible changes they can make. Also I couldn't even give him one star for politeness it's just the conditions of the room itself take away from that so no stars. Okay I have to give a star the post won't let me go any further without doing it. You didn't earn it but here it is.

Great location for my trip, it was near main roads so didn't take us off our path. The owner was very pleasant when we arrived late on Christmas Eve. I loved that they offered a smoking room! Very clean room, and I work for a cleaning company. The place is older, so you need to look past that. Great room for the price.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Employees don't bother the guests at all. The rooms could definitely use an upgrade and renovation. However, for the money and age of the property it's a very decent place to stay. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cheap motel.
