We stayed here as a last resort as all the other hotels were completely booked for a 2 night stay. They placed us next to someone who screamed the entire 2 nights. The rooms were not clean at all. The walls were dirty, refrigerator was dirty, walls was dirty, beds were stinky, carpet was stinky. It was just disgusting. We kept getting bit by bugs & we brought our own blankets. The ppl who own the hotel in the front office are very racist and rude. They didn’t acknowledge us weren’t welcoming & complained when my son ring the little doorbell. He only rung it one time & they came out yelling at us. If they don’t want you to ring the bell then why is it there. This motel should be shut down and definitely needs to be inspected. Our experience was horrible.

Have roaches , old furniture that don’t match it smells . The manager is rude , they don’t change the sheet over the mattress. The roaches made us sick. The cleaners or not clean , it have burn holes in the sheets . The cleaners knocks on your door to early .

Well, the last time I stayed at this hotel the experience was wonderful! I felt safe, the accomidations were awesome and the rooms and its immenities were on point. Well, business has brought me back to Thibodaux again so I revisit the the Economy Inn again for my stay. Not only was I immediately accomidated but was astonished to the upgrades to the same great room that I had years back. The new LED flat screen tvs, fresh paint and bed sets and still well functioning appliances and air conditioning. For a great safe stay, this place would be the place of choice to satisfy all your traveling needs!!

Very nice and clean! Room just got remodeled! Very cheap! I would come back again they only thing though maybe update the bedding but all and all it’s very nice!!

Room was comfortable. Nice place BUT if you are staying when there's a lot of rain ask for a room on the back. We had a front room and when we came back from dinner our room was flooded with sewer water and our bags were sitting in it on the floor. Needless to say we had to change rooms and do our laundry.

If I had the choice to not leave a star at all I would. Manager is a liar and rude. Rooms are dirty. Carpet is disgusting. Don't walk barefoot or in socks. They will turn black. Their dryers don't work and cost $3/load. Water takes FOREVER to get hot. Lighting in the rooms suck. Not bright at all. Overcharging FEMA for the ones that are staying there that FEMA is paying for. Furniture is raunchy and sofa beds don't work. And there is drug activity going on. Don't waste your money here. There are way better hotels around that are safer and cleaner and where service is 1000 times better.

Absolutely horrible hotel. I have no idea how the reviews are so good. Maybe some are fakes, since this hotel is the only review listed on many of the profiles. I traveled for 9 days and this hotel was the most expensive and the lowest quality. It was dingy and smelled like a musty cigarette. I was not even offered a non-smoking room. The rooms come with a full size bed or you can upgrade to a queen for an extra charge. The carpet was worn out and the overhead lights looked extremely cheap. Also the air conditioning sounded like a helicopter. Furniture is outdated and old. This place was absolutely awful and felt like a huge waste of $65 to stay there. Also the photos on the website do not at all reflect the actual room.
