Economy Inn - Motel in Monroe - 5200 Desiard Street, USA

Very clean. Looks like it was recently renovated. Granite countertops. Walls and floors looked great. No carpet, which we love. Rooms aren't very spacious and have just the minimum necessary. Excellent place at a great value if you don't need many amenities. They don't offer nor advertise non-smoking rooms, which made me hesitate to book online. However, the room didn't smell like smoke. An ash tray was provided :(( The lady said that they don't restrict the smoking because people are going to smoke in the rooms anyway... don't expect coffee. The lobby is not open. They use a window to serve customers. There is a Walmart very close. I would return to this hotel.

This is one of the best motels me an my family have stayed at!! We love the staff,the service is amazing an they a loving an caring people!! Very clean rooms!!,always helpful. I will recommend anyone to stay here at any time!!! Love the economy Inn!!! I give them a 10 star rating!!

Booked because it said pet friendly, big sign on the window says "no pets" charged me 77 for the 55 dollar room I booked, no soap or shampoo but found 2 small pieces of used soap in the tub. Everything smelled like weed and fixtures and trees and door latch plates painted over. Gross. I checked out 20 minutes later and went to days inn.

Me and my grandson was traveling stop to get some rest got the room went in it was very dirty beds and all including bathroom called desk got some more linens they were dirty as well I had my own cleaning supplies and clean the room my self cause it was late and we were tired should have gotten my money back front desk was not too friendly if you expect people to pay for a room go behind your housekeeper your rooms are dirty if you pay them more you would not have this problem don't make since y'all make good money and dont want to pay good but want your employers to work hard for nothing get it together or do it yourself and keep it clean never again and you wonder why people go to other hotels because they clean and make sure their clean and pay well

Rm 125 refrigerator does not work, 124 fridge makes an annoying loud noise constantly. They charge $80 for a double room with 2 full side beds. The space is appreciated, but the hot water doesn't go past warm, and they dont put new toilet paper in the rooms after they clean them, they leave what's left from previous person staying there. The lady at the front desk is rude. And its alot of extras going on on the premises. 👀 I gave them a 3 star rating cause of the refrigerator this was my second time staying here while repairs were being made to my house that fridge should be fixed or replaced by now. 🤬 for $80 yessum it sure should be.

The rooms are not too bad for the price, definitely not the cleanest, but not terrible. The problem was the people above us were constantly stomping and banging all times of the day and night. I had to ask for another room and they helped me out with no problems.

Should have asked for another room. Wasn't as clean as it should have been. Killed two roaches, dirty wash rag hanging on shower rod, no extra toilet paper, greasy hand print on mirror, bathroom counter not completely clean, something brown smeared on ceiling and by door. Wasn't vacuumed very well. Dust ruffle very dusty. Furniture very scuffed up.

The bed sheets were stained and torn. There were holes in the floor. And we weren’t allowed to get a refund because we didn’t notice the bed sheets until over an hour after we got our room. It’s disgusting
