Rooms smell of mold. There is no hot water. They said as long as it's warm the part will be on order like wow it's not really even warm. Ac did work good. There is no breakfast. For almost 90 dollars a night after taxes and fees. This place is truly garbage staff is friendly. Choice will remove their name soon from this place or at least should.
It's easy to complain when you buy cheap and get what you pay for so understand, my expectations weren't high. Most local hotels are booked for the race and I barely got this room. As soon as you drive up, you see a large hotel complex divided into smaller hotels. Once inside you see the cover up job that was recently done as of May 2024. Carpet all torn out, spaced with laminate. Granted it's easier to clean than carpet because well, people are generally nasty and disrespectful. The clerk ran my card before I even signed the bill and you could tell she hates her job. I try to realize everyone is fighting a battle that most of us don't know about but in customer service there are expectations. Smile a little...it's contagious. Inside the room, cabinetry is damaged and worn, the laminate replacement was in the rooms as well. The chair is stained (don't even want to think about with what), the surfaces are not clean, the shower is old and nearly not functional, there is brown splatter on the wall by the TV (again, don't want to think about what that is), the sink needs replaced, and I could go on. Highly don't reccomend this place. I'd say this is one star above the pay by the hour joints downtown. Trying the Hampton INN across the way next time....just got to book earlier.
Positive: The beds were clean. The room itself was generally clean. The A/C worked fine. Negative: EVERY towel and wash cloth was stained black, yellow, or both. There was NO breakfast. The exterior, lobby, and other public areas did not look nice.
Positive: Comfy bed and sheets, good value for the price and good shower with good water flow, while being a quiet shower. Negative: Back door hotel entrance lock was broken and still needs repair.
Rooms smell HEAVILY of smoke. I'm going to have to burn these clothes. Toilet paper is literally see through. Despite what the website says there is no pool and no breakfast. Not that I would want to eat here anyway. Damaged furnishings. Exposed wirings. I hate camping but throwing a tent in the park would have been a better experience.
Positive: "" Negative: This was falsely advertised. Directions took us to the wrong location, the room was so hot you couldn?t breathe and it took hours for the a/c to cool down, there was damage and construction type material out- there was NO breakfast. Overpriced
this place is shady people hanging in the parking lot 12:00 AM doing drugs ...rooms not up to date!!people just sitting in the parking lot manager lady mentally ill.....owner probably hired her so don't have to pay regular employee pay rate.the whole hall by the office reeks of weed and ciggerette smoke manager don't even try to check an see what room it is!!theirs no smoke detector in the room just wiring hanging where it's suppose to be.hole in the wall you can see into the room next door I had to stuff it with tissue and keep watching it to make Shure wasn't nobody next door going to push it out because you can see directly into the next room.indian owners all live on property with their family I bet they have the nice rooms!!I posted a picture I have video also of how rude the manager lady .
No breakfast. No hairdryers. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke and Indian food. My window shade would not open, but that's okay since I would be looking right out onto everyone who is smoking. The pillowcases were filthy. The shower was gross. The shower head was circa 1960. Somewhat sketchy people loitering around. I did not feel safe. The walls are paper thin, I could hear everybody's TV running on either side of me. Plenty of light, a very bright white light and a nice mirror on the vanity. The bed was comfortable. The gals running the front desk are super sweet. Maybe you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this to a female traveling alone. I'm sure my husband would find it just fine for him. I checked out and moved to a hotel by the outlet mall. It was just more to my liking. Even a Super 8 hotel is better.
Still lovely! Nicely kept city park. Love the Greenway Trail wandering through it as well. Be nice to have a restroom open all year though, this is a popular place. ð
My wife and I have been coming here for a few years and it never disappoints. The food is good, albeit a little pricey, and really tasty. This time, we started with the pretzel bites woth beer cheese. They were warm and soft and the beer cheese was o
The restaurant was clean, service was good, and the food was good too. After a mishap with the order, the waitress quickly fixed it. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
Bob Evans is a great place to enjoy a "home cooked" breakfast without the hassle of cleaning up! This location is really clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and efficient. For breakfast try the whole hog meal. The sweet tea is a must have also
