The hotel has been refurbished. Linens and towels all brand new. Bed was high quality. Very friendly and helpful folks running the place. Couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable stay. Would definitely go back. My dog loved it there, too. Breakfast was plentiful and good coffee.
This is by far one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in.
I booked this hotel due to the amount of positive reviews it had, boy were we in for a shock.
The walls were filthy, looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The dresser was missing handles, there were dead roaches on the floor, the floor was sticky, the room smelled stale and was dusty and grimey.
The sheets looked and smelled clean, however, I woke up and had a live bug in my hair, (see the tiny black bug in the pictures).
We didn't use the shower in the morning, we got out as quickly as we could, so I can't speak for water pressure, but the towels were stained, so id say we dodged a bullet there.
We didn't even try to have breakfast, so I have no comments on that.
If this hadn't been just a quick in and out trip for us, I would've left and gone to another hotel. We got in late and left early, so I wasn't expecting much for the price we paid, but I expected a clean room, at the very least.
I gave the location 2 stars because it was close to where I needed be. However the hotel is hidden behind a gas station.
2 stars for service because the front desk clerks were polite and friendly.
The only good thing about this room was the fridge was immaculate, looked brand new, never used.. not that we used it.
Room looked clean in appearance. Smelled clean. Bed sheets were clean. Shower curtain was broken. I got a nice picture of a cockroach hanging around. Price was cheap. If you dont mind bugs n broken stuff then the place is good.
The gentlemen who checked me in was very gracious and friendly.
The room was very clean, the sink faucet was broken and shot hot water, then fell off in my wife's hand.
Nice tv.
Nice frig.
Clean comfortable bed.
The breakfast was not good. Canned sausage gravy thinned down like water, and you had to microwave your biscuits 😜
No room coffee.
The woman tending breakfast never changed her look, mad!
Overall, it was a decent place to crash for the night, good price.
Gary is the best hotel employee I’ve ever encountered. A great place to stay while working in Cullman. Clean rooms working AC.
We stayed in Cullman,Alabama at the Econolodge on Father's Day weekend. I have to say it was pretty clean and No bugs at all. Not one. Bedding was clean. Bathroom had towels and rags that looked new and smelled clean. The microwave and fridge were clean. Looking out the window you see the woods so that's a plus with no noisy traffic on the side we were on. Hardee's nearby. Gas. Walmart. A/c worked great. Ice machine work. Coke machine work. Coffee was good. Front desk had a friendly face. Check out at 11. I would recommend👍
Positive: Bed was nice and comfortable. Great water pressure for showers. Good breakfast selection. Price was good. Negative: Bathroom was a little outdated could use a remodel. But good for what it is.
Amazing. We stayed somewhere else last night. This place blows it away and 30% less expensive.
I usually stay away from the cheapest I can find. But this place is FANTASTIC.
This hotel is absolutely the very best in all of the hotel stays we have been. From the parking lot to our room was one awesome surprise after another. The decorations & warm atmosphere made us feel right at home. The front desk was well attended
