Smelled of musty mildew , water was brown at start if running and had roaches. Was not refunded money for the room when we was there less then 1 hr it was to used due to water was ran in tub and a towel was used , beds was pulled back . Room was to used ..not staying with bugs
The Econo Lodge or Lake Norman Inn and Suites was in the middle of a remodel 3/9/24. Our room fridge, microwave, lamp, and other outlets did not work. If you just need a night of sleep, $67 plus tax wasn't bad, but don't expect much more.
I just want to comment on the Econo Lodge in Live Oak Florida. We were traveling from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Arkansas and was road fried by the time we stopped for the night . I met one of the nicest people at the Front desk her name is Shannon and she was wonderful!!! She understood our situation with all the expensive equipment we had in our van and gave us a room that we could keep an eye on it thank you so much Shannon!!! As for the room it was clean and good size .We will definitely be staying here again
I had to come into town unexpectedly for a funeral. The office staff was incredibly kind and very helpful. The room met my expectations for what I paid. The coffee makers in the room could be improved. They are pet friendly which is a big deal for me since I had to bring my 155lb mastiff.
The staff is great rooms very clean, and they go above the manager will do everything he can to accommodate you! Love this place
Late night driving and needed a room. This one was not far from the interstate, and the rate was less than $100. Perfect. This was February 16th. The gal at the front desk was super nice. The property was fairly clean and well lit. I was on the second floor, back in a corner. There was some trash on the walkway, but nothing major. Just someone being lazy about picking up after themselves most likely. Anyway, the room was decent, but not great. The linens were thin. The sheets were clean but thin and had burn holes in them. The television didn't work. There was a dead roach on the floor. Key word is DEAD, and it was only one, so I wasn't freaked out. But still...
The bathtub faucet was leaking badly--streaming water, actually, and had been for quite a while as there were rust and water stains. However, I could tell that everything had been cleaned.
In the morning, the trash was still in the walkway, but now there was bagged trash in a shopping cart right next to my car. <sigh> I guess (hope) someone got distracted. I went to the lobby for some breakfast and coffee. The breakfast was not very appetizing, but no big deal. However, the coffee was horrible. Gross, actually. And that's a big deal to me.
The room rate ended up being a little south of $95 for the night. Better than other hotels in the area, but in my opinion it shouldn't have been more $65. $75 max with all the tax and fees.
Good things: the bed was comfy and the night desk clerk was really nice. 😀
Sweta and her husband were very accommodating and shared good recommendations for vegetarian food near by. Not only that but they very kindly posted a bag that we’d left there back to us. Very helpful people.
I chose to give a five star bc this hotel is budget yes but also clean and comfortable with a great bed. The staff was super attentive and I felt safe. Did not even charge for a late checkout bc knew I was exhausted from work. Will stay again.
This place is a lot of fun to hang out at. Especially during Hulaween. Last year it was so hot and sunny that spent a few hours hanging out at beach everyday. It was full of people almost at much of party at the festival itself.
As we look into 1 of the historic homes of Live Oak, Florida that is now used for events and to take in the view. You will find throughout most of the year flowers, statues and gazebo including a historical plantation. It's a sight to see if your eve
Lots of storms lately so, many North Florida springs are browned out.
Orange Grove Sink at Wes Skiles Peacock Springs State Park is not directly connected to a river so we drove over hoping for the best. We were not disappointed! Great vis and on
A historical building with great food. From the moment we sat down to the moment we left we were impressed with the service, the atmosphere and the Food. Would most definitely recommend couples who want a nice date night to come here. 10/10
I had lunch at Robbieâs Cafe and it was spectacular, they were busy, however the waitresses were busy clearing tables, taking orders, refilling peoples drinks, bring out food, and they were still very friendly and attentive, the waitresses where wo
Interesting location, it use to be a bath house. You can walk around the ruins and down into what was considered the bath area. Itâs surprising to see how much water if flowing out of this spring. Strong smell of sulfur but the water is crystal cle
