Econo Lodge - Hotel in Gallup - 3101 U.S. Rt. 66, USA

We were heading to Phoenix and needing a place to stop. I called ahead around 10:30pm and they had two rooms at a great price. Rooms weren't perfect but they are being remodeled. Service was wonderful, front desk manager went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Rooms had cold AC, cable tv and comfortable beds. We ended up stopping on the way home and got two more rooms. Couldn't be happier. Plan to stop there any other time we are around Gallup.

I stay in a lot of Hotels ! I always Check the reviews ! Guy at Check in was Kewl ! Room I got is pretty Nice ! I like this Place ! No Complaints ! If ur Wealthy Go to the Hampton ! My room is Very decent for a Budget Hotel ! I’m here on the Weekend & they got the No Vacancy Sign up So it must be ok !

Positive: Staff attempted to rectify matters that rendered the first room booked as "unacceptable". Negative: Sink would not drain; room furniture/fixtures extremely worn; sheets not clean enough; towels worn beyond use/absorbency; appeared to be bugs (sand fleas) in the room.

It was okay. Nothing fancy. Pillows and towels are clean but older. My door reminded me of being in the dorms. They opened outward and had a broken chain latch on the inside. I appreciated the little coffee pot and the hair dryer in the room as well as the fridge (despite the freezer needing defrosting in order to close right) and microwave. The AC was push button old and had some dust, but it worked! Wifi dropped once but was otherwise good. Satellite TV. Staff is friendly and will sell you water, can soda or chips for a buck and will give you half a bucket of ice when asked. Housekeeping is by request and they have grab and go (preferably not to your room) food. Taco Bell is right next door. Carafes, safe to say, don't keep coffee or water hot. Might be better to just have a 12 cup coffee pot instead. It was a little out of the way to commute for work to the Rez but it's right off the interstate, across the street from the busy trains.

Smoking rooms. We have stayed here on the way and on the way back from Arizona. Both times were great. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and good shower pressure. Place seems to be doing some upgrade but rooms are clean and roomy. Location is easy to get to and not crowded or in crazy busy area.

I love this place. I drove 13 hours. This place is not far from highway, and on the right side is TacoBell, and in front is also food. Service is awesome 👌 and friendly. They already knew I needed some rest, so no more other conversation except me. She just gave me the papers and sign. Thank you 😊 🙏 💓

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, everything worked, the place was quiet at night, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I was there with 21 Boy Scouts, after camping in places with no facilities for quite a while, and it was Heaven.

Positive: "" Negative: The room had been used, so I brought it up to the staff, who just checked me out without condolences. I also gave him the "extra key" provided in that room; an employee's key, marked with a hole punched in it. The clerk even confirmed it was.
