Arrival 8/17/2024 Room 230 checked in went to event, came in late went to bed straight to sleep. Following morning before checking out pulled pillows and sheets back brown stains on sheets, at least 8 inches. Took a picture went to front desk to advise what was found. Clerk showed no empathy, just took a picture of the picture
How was this sheet even placed on bed. I would not recommend this place to anyone with service like this. Never heard back from property. An upon checking out asked if I wanted to leave a tip for housekeeping. Nope no tip as I was completely unsatisfied. G.REED
Friendly staff. Made sure we had a room on the 1st floor due to my husband's disability. Very quiet. The room was very clean, comfortable beds. Good price.
Would definitely stay there again.
I know this is a low star hotel, but they have been upgrading their rooms (I know because I've been staying off and on for over a year), and their staff is always friendly. The breakfast gets the job done and saves on travel costs. They recently started advertising EV charging, but it's important guests know they only offer Tesla chargers. I was really disappointed I couldn't plug in my J1772 PHEV. I hope they add other chargers soon.
Aggressive!||First of all, we were sent to a hotel next door. Fine, it was for one night, no big deal. We requested a late checkout. They said we could have until 12. At 10:50 the next morning, the door is opened by some guy from housekeeping! I was like, what the hell? I told him we had a 12:00 check out, but even so, what the hell? Why is he just coming in our room? He left. At 11:50, another guy starts pounding on the door. “It’s past checkout, it’s time to go!” I cracked the door and informed him we had a 12:00 check out. He yelled, “Well it’s time to go!” The phone rang and it was the front desk telling us checkout was at 11:00. I said: “This is aggressive! I asked for a late checkout, and YOU said we could have until noon!” She said ok and hung up. ||If they had not given us the late checkout, fine, but to bust in the room prior to regular checkout time, then have some guy yell at us like we were a couple vagrants was uncalled for. Not ever going back there.
Positive: Location Negative: Linen in our bed was not clean , not noticed until next morning went to front desk clearly and reported stain sheets provided picture she showed no empathy. We had a flight to catch very unhappy ? no way in hell would a leave for service room 230
Really appreciated the staff. The breakfast was pretty good, too. I can see that the exterior of the buildings (there are a few buildings) were cared for. Our room needed much TLC. Carpets were old and stained. Holes in the walls were barely patched. Bathroom was tiny and the shower rod and curtain were undersized. Bed was comfortable enough. TV provided streaming. Location was excellent but seeing traffic for road access was tough. Facilities were clean but in disrepair. See pics.
Our room was good, all clean and smelling good! Simple but cozy, the reason that I am giving 2 stars it's because the person upstairs don't stop walk, heavy walk and you feel all the pressure and impact down here! I am very sensitive for this, and when we did our check-in, the receptionist just put us downstairs without ask our preference, and upstairs was empty, so she could ask or give preference for us that arrived first. Anyway, my opinion is, or make this floor with quality with a good cushion so downstairs doesn't feel too much this steps or ask in the moment of the check-in the preferences. Other than that, all good! Breakfast had a good coffee, not too many options, but enough to start the day, so thank you and I hope that this review helps customers and managers at this property. My advice: take upstairs or somewhere else!
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable and an easy walk to Heavenly Village. Area seemed safe. |Cons: There was no wifi connectivity and the a/c was really loud. Apparently Econo Lodge has taken over an adjacent motel property on the east side. There is an empty paved lot between this other property and the main Econo Lodge. Despite the front desk attendant's assurance that there was internet on the adjacent property, we never got wifi . We only spent a night here, so it wasn't a big deal, but if you need wifi, then be sure to request a room in the main Econo Lodge building.

The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great.

Great experience. The hotel is well located near restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, and beaches/trails. The rooms were well remodeled and quiet. Check in was very modernized and easy, and the staff reached out the night before (and the day of) to m
We stayed in the Rubicon Room and it was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the lodge, the roaring fireplace, the big beams, and the gorgeous courtyard. Well worth it!
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
