I would give zero stars if I could. I booked a room for two nights for myself and 3 children and only stayed for one night due to the amount of bugs and cockroaches in the room. They were on the walls, the ceiling, and the hallways. I will never stay there again.
I also wanted to add, I did give the service 5 stars because the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating to mine and my family’s needs.
Great place to stay! My family and I have been staying at this Econo Lodge off and on for about 4 years. For me personally besides a clean room I look for 3 things when I choose a place to stay while traveling they are as follows: 1. The bed has to be comfortable in fact I have ask to see a bed before booking. 2. A shower with good pressure, water that gets hot and a shower head that moves (I am a short girl so that is important) 3. When traveling we always have food or drink items so a refrigerator that works well is a must. Knowing everyone’s must haves may be different I will say this hotel has never disappointed me. The staff (all of them) have great customer service and go out of their way to make our stays feel like home.
We have had a few unusual requests and each time the team was accommodating making us feel like a valued guest.
The location in McKinney is central to all the things we enjoy and easy to access. We highly recommend adding this to your favorites.
For a simple stay, this place is just fine. The beds are comfortable, the shower pressure is great, and the rooms are clean. The manager does a great job to maintain the hotel and immediately tries to resolve any issues. Prathap is a great overnight front desk agent, always ready to answer questions and is a pleasure to check in with. Recommended if you want a place to stay for a fair price. It's nearby downtown McKinney as well, plus restaurants, stores, and a beautiful park.
0 stars. Will be seeking litigation. After speaking with two separate reps from your reservation center and having both of them tell me that we would have no issues checking my 16 year old and her cousin in for an emergency stay without an adult the front desk clerk "DK" who refused to even tell me his actual name sent them out on the streets of mckinney tx at 10pm by themselves. I confirmed with both of the reps at least twice during each call and they both said they would be able to check in with zero issues. Your company made an agreement then an entry level front desk clerk broke that agreement and put two children on the street with no place to sleep and then proceeded to hang up on me. He spoke arrogantly and rudely to my 16 year old and myself. He did not care that they were putting children in a dangerous situation which speaks volumes for econlodge and their branches. I have already put in a call to my legal counsel and am filing a formal complaint with the company. This will be rectified if I have to sell my company to fund the legal fees and spend the next 10 years in deposition. These are children! You put children on the streets because your poorly run company hired incompetent employees. I will be bringing charges of child endangerment and filing reports with the bbb. I specifically confirmed multiple times with multiple people and your rep decided his opinion matters more than that agreement.
It was clean, but worn. Not bad for the price. The breakfast is bread with jelly and toaster waffles that don't get toasted, but there is a Whataburger near bye.
Been coming to this location for months on leave, and have never had a problem. However I went to check In today and they would not allow me the room I booked in advance because I am under 21 despite the law allowing military members over 18 to book hotels/rent cars. Even after telling them about the law they refused to hear me out.
Love this Hotel it’s a quiet getaway right in the heart of McKinney!! It feels like home. Close to beautiful lake with grills for family fun and shopping if you need to grab a few things!!
Pros: Rooms were clean and serviceable.
Cons: A/c units needed maintenance. Room was 75-80 degrees with unit set at 60 degrees .Inquired at front desk , was advised to set at 72 degrees . Did not work , basically a sauna during the day . For a non smoking hotel , marijuana smell was strong.
The cash deposit was also shocking ($50). At check out the front desk has to inspect your room in order to receive deposit back . Just a warning for people who do not carry cash regularly.
I love everything about this place:
1. The coaches take learning the techniques very seriously! They show it and help with individual tips how to atchieve best personal results.
2. The schedule is super flexible and I adore the 15 min time break in b
ETA: Kelsey is an amazing trainer! She's knowledgeable and knows what she's doing. She's helped me feel better, and stronger and more comfortable in my body since I started working out with her. There is zero judgement and it's a great place to work
