the photos used to showcase this place are photoshopped. This place is a dump with a certain level of lack of security and safety. the door to the front desk is locked. You have to be buzzed in to register and get your room key. If that doesn't make you nervous about this place than maybe you should be Leary of the people that just hang out in the parking lot. |The only reason I gave a second star was for the size of the room. It was huge. The room itself was older than old. It had the same carpeting from thirty years ago. Walls had holes in them. It had a musty smell. The AC was off when we walked it. Once we turned it on it did a great job of cooling down the room. The sheets were clean, blankets and pillow cases were also clean. The bathroom was clean; as were the towels. when we went to leave our room to explore Ocean City for the evening, we found the safety bar that latches over onto the door, laying on the floor. We brought it to the desk. Front desk said they would take care of it. We ended up sleeping with a chair propped against the door for security. Neither of us slept soundly. Would never stay here again.
I gave it a 3 because it's not the best but it's not the worst. Our room could be a little cleaner, like I know that things can be washed and the stain can be there but is faded. I think they should throw it out and buy new ones if it's stained badly. The bathroom was okay. The best part of the bathroom was actually the toilet lol. The shower rod is falling apart where you hang the shower curtain. The shower curtain needs to be replaced because its molded at the bottom. The bed is surprisingly really comfortable. More comfortable than Harrah's Casino hotel honestly. Our room was only like $30 bucks. We had room 206 and our hot tub thing was "out of order" but we asked how much for a working one and it's $60 so I think they shut off the water for that portion of the room if you're only paying $30 or less. I personally wouldn't want to go back unless there was some serious updating.
Wasn't the WORST hotel I've stayed in, but it wasn't the best either. Our TV didn't work, but that wasn't really as big deal for us. The room was clean, bathroom has plenty of towels. The hot tub was clean and worked great. However there was no ice machine - or it was probably broken. Staff was really nice and friendly. Price was cheap but... ya get what you pay for.
Rooms real of smoke and burn marks, dirty, found pack of cigs in the made bed, switched room and was going to sleep in the tub it was so icky! Sheets are not fitted and mattresses are ancient. Did not find bugs but not clean at all and someone in parking lot kept harassing us on how nice the place was. Think he lived there. Lady was really nice and returned our funds by 24 hours. Just not what I was expecting from review's. Look closer to casinos.
Stayed here for two nights and it was much better than expected. Everything was pretty clean, except our room was very smoky even though we requested smoke free. About 15 minutes from AC so it was very convenient, don't count on the complimentary breakfast to fill you up though.
I chose to rate this Econo Lodge specifically because the owners and staff were some of the most amazing people I have ever met. You can not ask to feel more at home and welcome. If you're looking for a decent place to spend the night, with customer care that's better than the rest, this place is well worth your money. I also usually travel with my small dog, and they were pet friendly, and very accommodating.
I was a little nervous getting a room so cheap but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was an average room. It was rather clean. The hotel was quiet. AC worked great. Staff was friendly when I arrived. Easy check in and check out. Cash option for room which is very helpful and convenient.
We booked this hotel as a last resort for a quick overnight stay. We went to Atlantic City for a concert and just needed a place to sleep for 6 hours that did not cost $300+ dollars. The funny think is that this was almost $200. Yes, we got ripped off. Our room was just old, musty, disgusting. I did not take a shower. I barely wanted to touch the sink. The A/C unit has mold in the vents. Therefore, we inhaled it while we slept and coughed all during the ride back home. Avoid at all costs!
An excellent place to live. ALL the staff is so helpful and friendly . Any maintenance issues are handled quickly and efficiently with a smile . A safe environment with neighbors who feel like family. We definitely look out for each other. I usually
Really nice park. Has basketball, tennis, baseball, soccer and football areas. Theres a cute little mini golf sections which I think is adorable. The walking trails are both paved and there are some nature trails. They also have a wheelchair swing wh
I'm new to the area and was overwhelmed with all the food options and I just wanted chicken tenders and fries. After a quick Google search, a review convinced me that this place was my best bet. I placed a delivery order and was surprised at how litt
We went on a Saturday night in summer. It was late after a show in Atlantic City. I used the Google app assistant looking for an open place. That already was a great experience. We arrived; there were about 3 tables with people at them and a few
If you are looking for an authentic Italian food experience then let Frank and Teresa take care of you. They food is well prepared, and consistently represents their passion for cooking. Sevice has that personal charm you would expect. My only regret
