Econo Lodge Flagstaff Route 66 - Featured Reviews (538)
Amazing hotel! Service was wonderful, room was spotless and comfy, location is perfect! |The audio wasn’t working on our tv when we checked in and they took care of it immediately! There were some loud guests in the middle of the night but the front desk agent came out and reminded them of the quiet hours and it was silent after that! |You can tell they hold themselves to a high standard and it’s a really incredible deal for the price. The breakfast in the morning is simple but just perfect after a good nights rest! Yogurt, bagels, toast, muffins, and cereal! Yum! |Hot coffee and tea in the lobby is always available, and it’s a 5 minute walk to the Starbucks if you’re a coffee snob! |Beautiful trail hidden up the road, just a quick walk from the hotel. We felt comfortable and safe our whole stay. Will definitely be staying here again!!! If you’re in flagstaff and looking for a place to stay- absolutely checkout this hotel!!
The hotel is very basic, but my room did house a microwave, fridge and a coffee maker of sorts. My room were reasonably clean and tidy but are not serviced every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about. It used to have a pool, but it's been filled in for whatever reason the staff were not aware. There is only one restaurant nearby which is ok if you like Mexican food. It's a few miles from downtown but there is an uber service available I'm told. There are a number of attractions within a few miles.
Simple, but very clean and updated! Staff super friendly and accommodating. Only concern was how high the bed was from the floor. Bed was comfortable enough, but being only 5' tall with a slight handicap, it was extremely difficult to access bed and definately couldn't sit on edge of it. Wonder if beds in designated handicap rooms are as high?
Pillows were a little flat but was the perfect one night stop on my driving trip. The hotel offered a nice little breakfast complimentary which was a good snack to grab before we headed back out for the rest of the drive. Second time staying here while driving through AZ.
This is hands down the best economical motel/hotel in the city of Flagstaff. Rooms are super clean, immaculate, nice showers , overall absolutely fantastic stay. I will always stay here every time I am passing through. I scored rooms here for $50 a day thats an amazing rate. Thank you Sara at the front desk for making this stay easy and welcoming.
I stayed July 2024, as a solo traveller on a road trip. I stayed a couple days while visiting the Grand Canyon. The rooms were excellent, and had been recently updated. I also got a call from the front desk soon after I checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. Good continental breakfast, and I loved all the Route 66 memorabilia.
There is a train track just the other side of the road, with freight trains coming perhaps once an hour. They don't sound their horn at night, so I had no issues sleeping. I'm also a bit of a train nerd, so it was fun watching them go by.
We had a great experience here, it wasn't the best hotel I've ever been in but we will definitely be using this lodge again when we travel back through here. The rooms were clean and spacious. We were able to get my baby's playpen set up and had it next to our bed. The service was a little rocky but other than that the experience was well enough we will be returning!
We rarely stay at an EconoLodge, but after reading the reviews and considering the price, we gave it a try. I'm glad we did! Nothing fancy here, no pool and only a continental breakfast. Some train noise once in a while but not terrible. We use a sound machine and ear plugs when we sleep anyway so we never heard it after we went to bed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
This hotel is so fun! Kids loved the rooms with disco lights and nostalgic throwback decor! Fire pit under the stars or throw some bags! Though a bit chilly the kids loved the 80 degree pool and managed even with it only being 39 degrees out. Pet fr

Maybe the best chain hotel in town. Walk a couple of blocks to plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Beautiful, clean, spacious and light rooms. Nice breakfast, with friendly staff there and at check in. Upgraded to a corner suite.
I was pleasantly surprised! The lobby was lodge-y themed with a large wood-burning fireplace. Front desk was very helpful. The room was spacious (2 queens and pullout couch) and included a coffee bar area with Keurig, fridge, microwave, and safe tuck
I won a bet with my buddy about who had the best burrito in town. I made him eat an El Mayor from Tres Amigos. He looked me dead in the eyes and said: "you win".
Gracie Barra Flagstaff has been such a great place to watch our son learn fundamentals of life, safety and become more confident as a 6 year old. We've only been here since January 2023 and we have enjoyed every part of being involved in this academy
