We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel. It offers everything you need for a comfortable stay without unnecessary frills, making it a great value. If you’re not looking to splurge on luxury, this place is perfect. It’s really all you need! The coffee was great too! ||The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family and me during a difficult time as we were dealing with the loss of our brother and needed to stay to handle his belongings. They made us feel at home and were incredibly supportive.||The beds were exceptionally comfortable, allowing us to get the much-needed rest we required. We would definitely stay here again.

My friend booked this hotel as she was able to get a good rate through work. The outside of the hotel looks a little rough. From speaking to the staff it was built between 1962 and 1972. Its two floors and no elevator. Yes the parking lot looks like battleground with craters and there is no advertised entrance. You enter through the Holiday Inn entrance.||The inside has been gutted and somebody has spent a great deal of money on the interior. There was new floors and carpeting throughout. The walls had new paint and fixtures. We were in Room 218 and the beds were nice and soft with new bedding.||The bathroom was clean, the shower handle to start the shower you had to pull out. We did have some trouble with the plug for the tub, but yhe lady at the front desk came and showed my daughter how to put it in. I asked for some extra blankets as I was feeling cold and I received two duvets. The service was always good. ||While there the hot tub did not work and the pool did not look too inviting so we didn't go in. ||The breakfast area was clean and attended to. They had all the food you would expect at a morning breakfast. ||Overall the place was busy, all the parking spots around hotel were filled by about 6pm. Its not a fancy hotel, but it is a clean hotel. If you are just staying over night and travelling this is a good buy, its also very close to Costco. Don't let the outside looks deter you. ||I read quite a few bad reviews that I didn't feel were quite justified. If you want new and modern this many not be the place for you. If you are travelling on a budget and want a clean place, reasonable breakfast this place will do.|

I really hate leaving negative feedback, but this hotel has seen better days. There isn’t an awning over the main entrance or a grassy area with a swing like seeming in the photo. The parking lot and roads getting to the hotel are in rough shape and a vacant lot is in front of the hotel. It feels like and looks like this place is next to be bulldozed so they can redevelop this corner. |The staff was nice, but it’s a little weird getting to the front desk. The hot tub was out of order the night we were up here. The currents in our room were in poor condition falling off the rod. Beds were comfy but pillows were pretty flat. The bathroom fan sounded like an old truck high idling. If you can afford a few more bucks, I would look at another option.

Pricey... $200 each night and I have to say... "What Breakfast?" Nothing there for breakfast at 9:00 am cept yogurt and cartins of milk. OVER RUN. wirh kids, and no parents watching them. Hot tub was nice and hot, but very poor jets and no towels to dry off with so the lobby was soaked in pool water. The parking lot was horrid, busted up, work in progress. And no signage except for the highway side. Staff was great with what they had to work with. This was not a stay that was worth over $50 bucks a night. SERIOUSLY THE CHAIN NEED TO COME DOWN AND TAKE A LOOK AT THIS PROPERTY

The staff we interacted with were all VERY nice. The building was hard to find. It would be helpful if some temporary signs were posted to deal with the construction. If you are using Waze to get there it takes you about 0.2 miles up the road. The building itself needs some updating. Our shower was very difficult to turn on. Another guest commented that they had the same trouble. The jacuzzi in our room required some playing around with buttons to get to work. It would have been helpful to have directions. A main reason we chose this hotel was because it had a pool and hot tub. Both of them were broken. That was very disappointing for the 3 kids traveling with us. The phone had no directions on how to contact the front desk. Breakfast was a basic continental with Danish, plain bagels, English muffins, waffles, cartons of milk, cereal and juices. The lemonade in the juice machine was very good. The beds were very soft. I liked them and found them very comfortable. My friend likes a firm bed and felt like she was drowning.

Whelp, this place was something. First impressions I was super impressed by Lyndsey and her service. Honestly, she is too good for this place. It tragically went downhill from there. The rates are definitely too high for the kind of place it is. Just walking down the hall to get to our room my daughter and I were bombarded by X-rated sounds (it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon) and they were resounding down the hallway. We rounded the corner to the back stairwell and the exterior door did not latch or even shut all the way. There was evidence that someone got ill on the stairs, what appeared to be blood stains on the wall od our room, and hair in the tub and shower upon arrival. I have photos but honestly, they're kind of cringe worthy so I am going to refrain. The water pressure must be off because our bathroom would not flush. It honestly was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I am not sure how they got their rating on expedia.

I rented a room here for 2 nights this past Saturday. When I got there they rented us rm 238 when we got to that room it was already occupied by the manager according to staff. They then rented us rm 138. In getting the room the floors were sticky the room wasn't very clean. We decided we would stay anyways. I laid down on the bed and was itchy and broke out in hives within a few minutes. When I checked the matress it was old and very stained up. I decided we could not stay and informed Linzy I was having an allergic reaction and could stay. She told me to call priceline and she would refund both nights however she told priceline she didn't have the authority to do so. In dealing with priceline they said the hotel refused to refund any of the money even though they should have for the 2nd night since it's a 24hr cancelation policy. Such a very disappointing situation. Having to find another hotel on labor day weekend at the last minute! We were at the hotel approximately 20 minutes!

Positive: Friendly staff, but the facility was a bit run down. It was clean and the breakfast was pretty decent. Negative: The online booking showed a hot tub but it was out of service from the health department. this is one of the reasons we booked this hotel.

We had an incredible stay and loved that it was in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood - there were lots of shopping and breweries within close walking distance. The room itself was amazing, very spacious and stylish and we felt right at home.
