Econo Lodge Downtown - Hotel in Colorado Springs - 714 N Nevada Ave, USA

Angel the employee that checked us in was awesome. Friendly inviting and helped us out a lot. Went with no reservation for a 2 night stay. Only had one night available within 10 min of checking us in Angel said there was a cancellation and was able to book us for the 2nd night. Great service and great hotel for a short stay. Rooms were nice bathrooms a little small for a 6'4 guy. The only complaint is not a lot of parking.

I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge and was pleasantly surprised by the quality for a budget hotel. You definitely get what you pay for, but in this case, that's a good thing. The room was basic but very clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The service was friendly and efficient. I've stayed in worse and better places, but for the price, this Econo Lodge exceeded my expectations. Overall, a great choice for budget-conscious travelers.

This place is awesome!!! Angel at the front desk was very nice and helpful!! Patrick was great also and very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was my favorite part of the room, shower was amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet place and pool was nice to swim in. Front desk staff was amazing thank you angel for all your help and advice about sight seeing and restaurants! Room was clean! No problems at all! Location was convenient it’s definitely walking distance to everything… we will definitely be coming back

Angel at desk very rude. Said computer was rebooting. Come back later. Looked into a room with door open. It stank and looked like an OLD musty room. Decided not to stay. Angel checked me in any way without my permission. They will not reimburse me. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!

Angel front desk Very rude. I had requested 2 ground floor rooms next to each other. She had sent me an E- mail earlier stating they can't guarantee this but will try their best to accommodate. When I asked her about the requests she went crazy, yelling at me ( I told you NO). Then stated computer was down to come back later. Sitting in parking lot saw a room that had an open door , looked inside. It was very musty/ stinky and creepy. We left and meanwhile Angel checked in without my permission. That may be against the law? I am trying to get my money back but no luck. I have E-mailed and tried to get with the Manager Paul Patel. BUT Angel keeps intercepting and pretending like she is the manager. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I am staying at the Econo lodge off of Nevada in Colorado springs and I have a stay from Saturday till Tuesday morning. I had an incident with a staff member round 8:30 pm I called for extra pillows and blankets and the lady hung up the phone. I went up there to see if I could save her extra work by coming to the office for pillows and she said that she wasn't going to do it until she made her rounds and gave horrible attitude, then started to threaten my family and I to leave the hotel property. She's made false reports on her end and now we have to leave the hotel I have videos of her coming at me an my family for no reason I even tried to deescalate the situation and she kept threatening us. I would like to take this situation a little further because I have children and our home is under inspection for mold and we have nowhere else to go. We have been good guest here we have kept up with our room and have been vary helpful to the house keepers I am not understanding why this lady has such unprofessional ways and is now wanting to kick me and my family out. I don't appreciate the horrible experience. Angel is not so much an angel! SHES TERRIBLE FOR BUSINESS!

Positive: Nothing. Honestly tops my list of the worst places I have ever stayed. Negative: Lodging was horrendous! Room was dirty, smelled strongly of smoke (and air freshener), burn holes and stray hairs on the pillow, overall, gross and sketchy. Dead cockroach in front of the toilet. Toilet was filthy. My son awoke to cockroach in his face.
