This location has by far been the worst experience I have ever had when staying at a hotel. The entire room smelled like mildew and cigarettes (I was in a non-smoking room). There were cigarette burns on the tub, the towels had stains on them. There was duck-tape on the door and the deadbolt wasn’t fully attached. I did not feel safe inside that room. And lastly to put the cherry on top of all the other issues there was constant construction on the building. If I could give 0 stars I would
You get what you pay for plain and simple. In this case i was honored a good rate at the last minute for 3 night's so i can appreciate that. Room had a fairly comfortable King with no smoking a fridge, sink, decent tub with hot/cold water all electrical functions worked. Located fairly close to both Chesapeake/Norfolk (everything is a drive out there) always protect your belongings-simple. If cheap and minimal amenities is what you're looking for to save on a trip this is it,i was barely at the hotel being out & about as it was. Only complaint if any was no hot breakfast at the office, find a local spot to eat.
Price is excessive. Besides the large dead roaches in the middle of our floor, and the blood on the toilet, it wasn't terrible🤣 I highly recommend your staff do a simple extra check in the rooms, prior to allowing families to enter them to see that.
Amazing front desk staff and quiet. The rooms were very affordable as per my budget and check out is not until 11am. I enjoyed my stay
I stayed from 1/13-1/14 in King Room smoking. Let me start by saying the staff was so pleasant and nice! I wasn’t happy with the room for the following reasons: I had a King sized bed with 3 what seemed like mini pillows The blanket was paper thin The shower/tub was the worst part of the room! It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years! The shower/tub definitely needs a make over! Until that happens I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!
The room was old looking the bathtub was chipped paint looked horrible would not take a bath due to that did take a shower though burn marks all over the tub from cigarettes carpet in the room was stained
Stayed night of July 29, 2023 thru the 30th Pros: The outside looked as expected, parking lot was clean and free of loiterers. It was less than 10 minutes from my boyfriend’s family house. That’s were it ends after that it went down hill. Cons: As soon as we walked in the room you got the strong smell of mildew. The carpet was red but you could visibly see stains. I was scared to take my shoes off so I did not. The bed linens appeared clean but you could see cigarette burns. I did a thorough check to make sure they were indeed clean. Now the bathroom! The toilet was clean and that is all. The tub/shower was horrible. The tub and shower definitely needed to be resealed. It was moldy and chipped everywhere you turned. It was disgusting. Luckily I had brought us towels so we used the hotel towels to put in the tub just to stand in while we took the quickest shower ever! I felt unclean the entire overnight stay. We checked out as soon as we got up the next morning. Never again. The health department needs to be called this place is disgusting.
Watch out for the housekeeping lady…. She will take things that don’t belong to her… Meanwhile She leaves trash behind after she cleans it smh . Not sure if my picture was uploaded, but this is how they make your bed after they’re done

We visited early morning and hiked the trails. We saw turtles, snakes and squirrels on the trail along with costal birds. My favorite was watching the lift bridge raise and all the informational markers on the paths. The museum was closed. We will vi
