I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. To be called a Choice hotel is a joke. The front desk staff are never at the front desk. After coming off a 18 hour drive, we were told the lobby restrooms were locked and do not open till 8am (which is against Choice policy). The rooms were extremely small, the walls were thin, you could hear everything outside and inside the hotel. They had construction materials blocking two parking spaces in front of the hotel vs the rear of the property. We booked 2 queen size beds, but were given 2 full size beds which were extremely uncomfortable! On the 2nd day the bathrooms were again locked at 4pm in the afternoon in the lobby which is not acceptable. We ended up checking out of the hotel and checking into a better hotel. Upon checkout the Manager (I think that's what he was) said "I'm sorry this isn't a Marriott." Very unprofessional in my opinion. I will never be staying at this hotel again. If I could get my money back that would be amazing, but I'm sure management doesn't care.
Please be warned about this hotel. While cheaper, cheaper is not always good!
The rooms were clean and there's a microwave and fridge. Only giving it a 3 star due to location and the fact they don't serve breakfast. I see rates are $100+ during the weekend, so people pay enough for even a continental breakfast. They offer coffee but the sugar and creamer weren't stocked.
Nice place. Quite, clean, new mattresses, hot tub, indoor swimming pool , great staff, good neighborhood next to the military base, I have stayed here on and off for over 15 years and cannot believe some of the false reviews some guest write. Its a well maintained hotel. Always a pleasure to stay here.
Me and my girlfriend really enjoy staying here. The rooms are always clean. The rooms are spacious. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Id easily say with the hot tub and indoor swimming pool this is the best bang for your buck. You can tell they have management that cares about the quality of your stay. The views of the legendary Pikes Peak is amazing at both sun up and sun down.
Enjoy golf well there's a beautiful course next door. Close to all your shopping needs.
First of let me say the check in process was smooth, the man that checked is in was polite and talkative. He even called to verify we were still coming. The pool area was clean. Unfortunately the pictures are not exactly how the hotel looks. The carpet in the foyer was dated and dirty, as well as the carpets going upstairs. It smelled of marijuana and cigarette smoke even though all the rooms were non smoking.
In the room the hair dryer did not work, the exhaust fan was noisy, there were crumbs in the corners. The area in which the hotel is located is kind of shady. Unlike other choice hotels there was no Breakfast available, although their website says there is breakfast. The woman that checked us out was not very friendly, and did not give me my receipt, she stated it was emailed and 30 minutes later I am still waiting for it.
I came to get a room about 1am and the lady I forget her name Dan something was very unprofessional and rude when she did finally arrive from wherever she was hiding, I never even made it past the check in stage and I was already done with her poor attitude. I realize I could have been a little cranky from being in the road at that time but the is no way. Her complete lack of customer service and making me feel like being there was barley tolerable to her. I hope the rest of the employees are not as sour as the late shift, I'll never know because I'm sleeping at the Travelodge
Been here three days it's nice! I have no issues I stayed at econo lodge before so it's pretty good. I didn't like the comfort suites in town so I came here. Better price same kinda hotel
The photos speak for themselves. My room definitely served as a shooting den / sex work place during nights prior. Maintenance and cleanliness were subpar. I'll argue that the Department of Health and AHLA would love to see this. The halls had NO air moving and smelled of stale Marijuana and BO. Sure, the rooms were non-smoking, but let's be honest. Folks were smoking in this motel. I spent a total of 35 minutes checked in before going to the lobby to turn in my key. Avoid this location at all costs unless you want to feel dirty and experience the nostalgia of a Bob Seger song. Choice Hotels - If you're reading this, send someone down to check on this hotel. Kudos to the staff who checked me in/out - they were kind and understanding. The problem here is negligence by management.
