Econo Lodge - Hotel in Wooster - 2137 Lincoln Way E, USA

My boyfriend and I have stayed here multiple times over the last year and have never had any issues. I must say they have made major improvements from when I worked housekeeping at this location about 12 years ago. The change of staff was the 1st thing I noticed they are a wonderful group of people who have ALL gone the extra mile to make us feel welcome and appreciated. And the room updates are are pleasant ones. With all things improvement takes time and they are making it happen

Where do I start? There was a big gap on the bottom of the door so any critters could crawl in from outside the bathroom stunk like mold the bed was hard. The pillows were like laying on a towel, and the lady next-door kept slamming her door and starting her loud car and leaving several times a night, and there was no continental breakfast which what they showed in the pictures evidently they had several tendons living there this is not Like most of the choice Privilege motels I stay at.

Avoid this place!! Room smelled musty. The bathtub had duct tape to cover a Crack or hole in the floor. While showering it felt like you were going through the bottom of the tub. The hair dryer didn't work and was dirty. The pillows were very flat. The only good thing with the room was the TV. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Don’t stay here the owners are rude and will waste your time as it states this is a pet friendly hotel but it is NOT Cat friendly one and judging by how the place looked not allowing cats is the least of their problems I requested a refund they initially told me I would get one then came up to the car while we were panicking about what we were going to do and got on the phone and walked away having us and our animals wait in the hot car before we could leave the guy comes back to the car and tells us we might let you stay here but you can’t bring the cats inside the room and we had to pay 150$ extra and if they even found a single cat hair it wouldn’t be refunded which is beyond ridiculous we went to a couple other hotels and even with the cats they were much nicer about it and we ended up choosing a much nicer hotel with owners who weren’t rude

Avoid avoid avoid. First room had a strange bad Odor and a shoddy air conditioner. The beds were dirty. They refused to refund our money so we switched rooms. The second room the air worked but it was still filthy. We spilled something on the floor and when we cleaned it up the towel we used was BLACK with grime. Towel rack was rusty and they only gave us 2 towels. They questioned us when we asked for more. Lots of shady people and activities going on outside of the hotel. They say they have an included breakfast but that is a lie. They have coffe but no creamer or even a lid for your cup. They had a juice machine which only half worked. We did not attempt to even look at the pool after seeing the state of the rest of the hotel.

I am over pouring with excitement about how much satisfaction I got taking my summer travels in wooster ohio and I really would love to come as much as possible now that I have had the best experience I've ever had finding a place like econo lodge wooster under the successful hands of the current owner and staff. It has definitely been gratifying and my God the talent of the staffing team and beautiful people who want to see you have the best but at a cost that is definitely affordable. It's luxurious and serene. I've literally been craving a quick pleasurable nite away the second I have a chance. So if traveling to Wayne county ohio do yourself a favor and make time to reserve your holiday accommodation with the beautiful family and staff of Econo lodge wooster and stop in for top notch coffee as you check out. Any positive reviews of this dump are either really old or they were paid to write it. This place is a filthy dump!! I wiped a few drops of water up off the vinyl floor at one point and the tissue came away black with dirt and grime. To my horror, I also discovered crap in the toilet. DISGUSTING!!! The free breakfast is a lie - there was no breakfast and they went so far as to tout "Belgian Waffles" no less. They refused to refund one dime for the fake breakfast bait and switch. They scammed me out of my damage deposit as well. This place is a fraud and a rip off. Trust me, you will end up spending more at this garbage heap then you would have at a higher quality hotel in the end. If you decide to go there, bring a hazmat suit. DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst experience ever! We had a bag stolen and when we asked the staff to check at least one of the 35 cameras that they have, we were told that the owner only had access to them. We asked them owner to check them and he had a total attitude and couldn't even under the importance and sentiment of the bag stolen. He said he would check and then said he didn't see anything. Didn't see anything? We came into the lobby with the bag... Went to our room with it. Now it's gone? Hmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔 Found a bug of some sort crawling on the bed. Booked for a week and when we asked for new bedding and towels the staff said 15-20 minutes and never showed. The language barrier was a problem I guess? I seen a few mice running around. I would never ever ever ever EVER stay at this place again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! Front door to the lobby is always usually locked in the morning. Phone didn't work in the room. Just a sad sad experience. The owner and staff are just rude and act like they are royal and above any and everyone. Don't ever stay here. ECONO LODGE WOOSTER 0/10
