Econo Lodge - Hotel in Somers Point - 21 MacArthur Blvd, USA

I loved this place. It was perfect for my husband and I. We went for the 4th of July until the 7th of July which is a holiday weekend. We felt safe, had plenty of towels, the room was clean and fresh and the manager on duty was always pleasant when we asked questions. This place is so close to everything we wanted to do and especially the beach. The bed was comfortable, we had plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning worked really well. We have no complaints because we had a good experience and we had a very very relaxing beach vacation.

My family stayed here for 2 nights and we had a great time. The front desk was friendly and accommodating but we were hoping for room service cleaning during our stay and we did not receive it. Ultimately it wasn’t a huge deal. A quick drive to the boardwalk and other OCNJ places. No issues with parking. Did not include beach passes so just keep it in mind. Room did have strong disinfectant smell when arrived but we just opened the window for a bit. We will be staying again.

The parking lot is super tiny and only 1 spot per room(which is reasonable). We had 2 cars due to coming down at different times. We had to find parking in a residential area nearby, the desk didn't know where else to suggest parking. The location was great. Quick drive to Ocean City. The rooms were clean, and they brought a cot when we asked for it. The pool's shallow end was 4 ft which made it slightly difficult for our 8 & 10 years old to enjoy it fully. Overall, we got what we paid for and it won't be our first choice, but it's not a bad choice to stay if you want to go to the shore!

Had a very pleasant stay at this motel. Only a 10 minute drive to Ocean City Boardwalk. Wawa across the street for quick food. Shopping a short drive away also for any last minute needs. Room was clean and comfortable. Gentleman at the front desk was friendly. A solid option and much more affordable than staying on the waterfront.

Great clean motel great service.room was clean and comfortable. I left something valuable after checkout and got a call 2 hours later that they had found it. I would absolutely stay and recommend this hotel again .

This place is nice . Clean and accommodating. Each room has all you need. Price is right. .Would recommend this place for someone who is planning a trip to Ocean City New Jersey. Wawa and a nice restaurant are right across the street and you are just a few minutes from the beach and boardwalk.

Great location, easy access to restaurants. Ocean City just across the beautiful bridge and causeway. An older property, the owners had thoroughly detailed my room, I'd guess others as well, clean plank ceramic flooring, fresh white linens and towels. Spring mattress not foam, but acceptable. Vented immaculate bathroom had new solid Aker Max shower inserts and fixtures with excellent new shower head. It was very hot during my visit, the AC worked perfectly. WIFI worked well as did the cable TV with the usual program stuff. Parking not a problem. Plenty of AC plugs for your charging accessory. Lighting good. Microwave. Desk and office chair a nice accessory for work. Security doors. The pool and area looked clean well kept and enjoyed by guests even in the extreme heat. I noticed families as well as singles among the guests. Owners, staff and cleaning crew manage this hotel well. Arriving from long trip before check-in (3pm) there is no Hiltonesque restroom in the lobby. The check-in lobby needs work, messy with peep through security hatch into a plexiglass sealed office. Although this is an older property, from my experience I would easily plan to return.

This is my second time staying here- never again. Room was dirty, electric socket coming out of the wall in bathroom, couldn’t use to do hair in the morning. It had a moldy smell and AC smelled funny. The first time I stayed wifi was spotty. Two years later it AGAIN didn’t work. Website says breakfast but they do not have that (which I was aware of from the last time). Over 500 for two nights and it was a dark, damp smelling dungeon. They take advantage because they know it’s close to the beach so people will book it. I learned my lesson will plan ahead so this is not the only option available!
