I will only tell you that I couldn’t even take a shower because it was so filthy. I was sick with the terrible smell in the room. In my opinion, they have a problem with mold and that’s why they try to masquerade it with the strong smell for you not to notice. They even have a portable dehumidifier under the water fountain. Because we were already trapped here we woke up with stuffy noise and dry throat. I feel I was victim of scam and that’s why I was charged almost $400 for 1 night for the worst and unsanitary hotel room I’ve had ever been. Note: I have some pictures, but I don’t know if I will be able to post it in here.

This place truly sucks!! Sleep in your car or under a bridge would be better. What would really benefit Lafayette is for this hotel to be bull dozed to the ground and any remains lit on fire Refused to give me an extra pillow No breakfast despite claims of having breakfast as well as a sitting area which says "breakfast area" Shower barely worked with cold water only Bed and sofa both hard as rocks Air conditioning does not work Employees barely speak English and get an attitude when you ask for something Kids running up and down hallways all night long People slamming doors all night long Does anyone here actually sleep?! You get what you pay for it so true here

As a "Choice Diamond" Member I expect certain standards to be delivered, and this location was so far off the mark I was shocked. From the initial abrupt pissy greeting, and defensive posture to my disappointment over no breakfast of ANY TYPE being offered, to my key cards being tossed on the counter, this location is representing the brand horribly. There is an air of difference from both staff and management, and the only thing they are quick on their toes to do is collect payment. This little location cheapens the brand, and since the wrong message from beginning to end. Corporate should review this location, audit their standards to maintain brand integrity, and initiate a retraining immediately. Beyond the horrible lack of customer service, are also the quality and cleanliness standards represented in the photos. It goes beyond dirty, to a point of being a health hazard to guests. Unchecked, this will cost significant money and reputation for this brand. Shame on those accountable for oversight, as there appears to be none. Choose one of the many other hotels in this area, and do not subject yourself to this location.

It looked like someone died in the bed. And had blood all over it.The goofy sandbag had the dasanity to ask me if I took his cover off So we moved me rooms and tell me why the sheets in the other room look like 4 or 5 of them sandbags been living in it. Do not go to this place and these clothes down. And they need to move back to where they belong. Because Americans don't live like that.

This place is much better to stay in as everything is nearby and within walking distance of most of the restaurants, gas stations, and Walmart I stayed in this hotel for almost 9 months as I was working at Caterpillar. I was not expecting much in amenities and breakfast as I know it's an economical hotel and at least they don't treat you like other hotels force you to check out when there is Purdue football season as they are sold out or they wanted to pay them $300 plus for a night Econolodge kept my weekly rate the same as it was from the beginning and didn't change it nor ask me to pay crazy prices when they were sold out they even kept rooms for existing guests so I didn't worry about changing hotels.

This single address has 3 different names on Google and is a scam! Trust me, they do not offer refunds and the place is SO much different in person than their photos and is disgusting as you can see there are ROACHES! Smells terrible and horribly dirty.

Econo Lodge Lafayette: A disappointing stay. As a traveler seeking comfort and cleanliness, my recent experience at the Econo Lodge in Lafayette left much to be desired. While the hotel boasts an attractive exterior and convenient location, the reality within its walls falls short of expectations. Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by the subpar conditions. The pillows, advertised for a restful night's sleep, were disappointingly lumpy, providing little support or comfort. Furthermore, the bathtub exhibited unsightly scum and mold, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning and maintenance. Although the beds themselves were firm, any semblance of comfort was overshadowed by the presence of strange debris and lint scattered across the surfaces. It was evident that cleanliness standards were not upheld, as dust permeated the room and the furniture appeared beyond redemption, marred by years of neglect and grime. While the television functioned adequately, other aspects of the room were far from satisfactory. Cracked light switches and strange stains adorned the walls and lampshades, contributing to an overall sense of disrepair and neglect. It became apparent that the housekeeping staff merely skimmed the surface, focusing solely on the beds while neglecting to address the myriad other cleanliness issues present. Additionally, the lack of attention to detail extended beyond the individual rooms, with poor amenities and widespread maintenance issues plaguing the entire hotel. Broken fixtures and makeshift repairs were commonplace, reflecting a lack of investment in ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort. In conclusion, my stay at the Econo Lodge in Lafayette was marred by a myriad of cleanliness and maintenance issues, ultimately detracting from what could have been a pleasant experience. For travelers seeking a comfortable and hygienic accommodation, I would advise looking elsewhere for lodging options.

I stay in a lot of hotels. This place I was afraid to lay down on the bed. As I checked in the customer in front of me was asking for a refund because she was displeased but was refused. 1. Bed box springs had nasty rusty stains. I hope it was rust. 2. The smell was not a clean enviroment. 3. The pillows were well used and just not acceptable! 4. The toilet seat kept falling off. 5. The grunge and grime from floor to cieling. Many months of dust and filth along the baseboards and corners of the tiled floor. 6. There was urine in the toilet when we arrived. 7. The whole place is in disrepair from the lobby to the rooms. With out if order signs and common areas closed off. I asked my wife did she not even read the reviews!? 8. Staff what staff? Didn't see other than checking in and it was not customer service orientated. 9. No breakfast at the $100+ price My comparison I stayed in a Best Western in Ft. Wayne 2 nights later for the same price. Very clean! Excellent customer service and included a very nice breakfast. After that stayed at another chain hotel in Columbus,OH for the same price. I would give it a 5 star for what I paid for. I paid for my daughters room as well and her room looked a little cleaner but I paid over a hundred dollars per room. Purdue was having the graduations so we were way overcharged considering what this place normally gets. Avoid this hotel unless you're use to 3rd world squalor and like paying 1st world prices!
