Echo Mountain Inn - Inn in Laurel Park - 2849 Laurel Park Hwy, USA

You know how sometimes places are so proud of their facility that they tend to expound on things that are just not really there? Well Echo Mountain Inn is NOT one of those. Everything described on their website was correct to a T. We enjoyed it so very much! Beautiful grounds, very (genuinely)friendly staff and adorable Inn. We were there for 2 days, and we really did not want to leave. Our stay was due to a concert our granddaughter played in at the Brevard Music Camp in Brevard. I searched for accommodations nearby and this beautiful little Inn came up and I am so glad it did. Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of North Carolina only a ½ hour drive from Brevard.|When we arrived, Jan (co-owner) was in the flower garden tending to the Lamb Ear foliage. She greeted us with welcoming smiles and conversation. Once inside we were greeted again by two very pleasant folks at the desk with our room key and check-in items ready to go. Our room was checked once more before we entered, and our vacation began. We chose the “Magnolia” a lovely spacious room with bath, all very spit spot clean and fresh. In the morning, the bright and cheery dining room surrounded by beautiful windows gave us a spectacular view. Breakfast was top notch with fresh fruit, homemade French toast, muffins, sausage and more.|I cannot say enough about this place, it was simply perfect! My only fear is that if I say too much the secret will be out and everyone will go there!

This hidden jewel in the mountains was the perfect place for our family to stay when our son and daughter-in-love decided to get married at Pretty Place. The owners and staff were very helpful and the friendliest folks you could ever meet! The wedding reception was held here at the Inn and everyone pitched in to help make it beautiful. Anything we needed was taken care of and an excellent recommendation was made for fresh flowers from the local farmers market. We also enjoyed the pool and fire pit. It was the perfect spot to gather and spend some time relaxing. Oh, and how could I forget those amazing breakfasts made fresh each morning! So much charm here! This is definitely a place to come back to if we’re ever in North Carolina again!

We will return! The inn is on top of a mountain, with beautiful views, and just a short drive down to Hendersonville. We stayed in the English room which was charming. They have lots of books, and many games to choose from for evening fun. The breakfasts are good, especially the sweet potato casserole and the cheesy grits. Their staff are very nice and attentive. We enjoyed our 4-night stay at this historic, pretty, and peaceful inn.

Wow! What a surprise. This inn is a major delight. Built in the late 1800’s: but over the years added on and improved and today cozy mountain top inn with modern amenities and nostalgia in abundance. ||The hosts and staff were wonderful. They provide a hot, cooked breakfast in the morning and a 24/7 coffee and tea station. The views from the enclosed sun room make a relaxing place to just rest or read. ||Not far from Bullington Gardens (.free) and a little hidden gem not to be missed.||This was beyond worth the stay

Holding our family reunion at the Echo Mountain Inn was the best experience we could possibly have had. The staff were all so friendly, kind, and helpful with whatever we needed. The rooms were nice, well decorated, and very clean. I have tons of allergies and dread hotels, but my room was so nice that I experienced no problems. The gathering spaces were varied in size to accommodate intimate conversations or large groups. Breakfast was delicious and the serving hours well planned. There were many toys to keep the young ones busy. Many options were available for those who wished to explore the area.

This historic inn was just what we needed! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the location on top of the mountain is great. Breakfast is delicious, and there is plenty of room to relax, including a sun porch and a library with 24-hour Keurig coffee and tea. You can get discounted tickets to the marvelous Flat Rock Playhouse. We stayed in the Biltmore Forest room, which was charming. My only complaint is that the mattress is super hard and bad on my back.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for a long weekend. The accommodations were exactly as pictured and described on the website. We enjoyed the peaceful location and the friendly helpful staff. The location is convince T to Hendersonville and just a short drive to Asheville and other nearby towns. There is so much to do in the area and having this wonderful place to return to in the evening to relax made the trip special. We will definitely be making a return trip.

We spent an absolutely delightful week at this beautiful inn. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The inn, staff, and owners are one of a kind. Everything is clean and beautifully thought through. Breakfast abundant and delicious. The common space exceptionally handsome and varied...with a fireplace! The gardens just lovely, the porches inviting. We enjoyed walking every morning before breakfast (with umbrellas provided when needed). Others guests were a pleasure. In fact, we're hoping to organize our (long delayed) family reunion there. Thanks, Bud and Jan, for a memorable experience.
