Eat A Pita - Mediterranean restaurant in Louisville - 2286 Bardstown Rd, USA

Ordered carry out over the phone from the menu on their main website. Biggest grip is the prices online from the website ARE NOT what they’re charging. They are charging several dollars more per item. I mentioned it before I paid when I noticed, and the guy working said he’s told his boss but nothing has been done. For that reason I would stay away because who knows how much you’ll pay. On top of that, food was below average sadly. The gyro meat was much better than the chicken entrees we ordered. The sides were hit or miss. The hummus tasted very strange compared to many I’ve had, like it was missing salt or garlic or another key ingredient.

The food here is disgusting! The falafels where cold and flavorless and we asked for our vegan tzatziki on the side and of course they put it on our falafel wrap anyways. The fries was soggy and under seasoned. We had to bring them home and put them back in the oven and they was still disgusting after seasoning them ourselves. The grape leaves was under seasoned as well. The only thing that was worth eating was the pita chips and salsa. I took a few bites and threw the rest of the food in the trash. The customer service was ok and the atmosphere was decent but we definitely wasted 50 dollars!! I would NEVER eat here again!!

Have had shawarma before,but this one is just like some fast food joint, wish they make shawarma the regular way which is more flavorful,the hummus was not ground properly and had paprika and parsley on top,wish it only had olive oil. Nice spacious place with ample seating.

Been here few times. My last time here my experience was not the best but I choose to give another try. And was great. Food great, Excellent Service and good price.

Everything was good definitely be back again... I was kind of leery but I'm glad I made the right choice... I had a salad as well as some cheese dip I must say it was great... Didn't get a chance to take a picture 😂

My partner and I ate here and were super impressed. Out of the Mediterranean restaurants we have been to this one was our favorite. Everything we ordered was super flavorful and the portions were awesome for the price. I was surprised to see other reviews saying that the food was bland. We didn’t feel that was the case at all for what we bought. We ordered the stuffed grape leaves, vegan chicken gyro, vegan chicken shawarma, with a side of lentil soup and beans with rice. The staff was super nice as well. Only thing was it was a little hot in there. I was rather worried about the employees working in that heat. Hopefully they can get whatever it is fixed soon. Would definitely come back and suggest this place to others.

My salad is floating in some type of questionable liquid. It's not dressing as that's packaged separately. I threw it in the trash! I hadn't ordered from here in quite some time and now I remember why!! Came back to add... I was instructed by the owner to email them directly. I did exactly that 3 days ago and still haven't heard anything from them! I really wanted to give customer service a nice review because things happen, but I'm not satisfied with zero response🙄

We get the gyros, and there is so much food, we can't eat it all. It's absolutely delicious. The customer service is fantastic. Great location also. Highly recommend.
