Haven't been here in over 20 years. There have been some changes. The water is really murky. Quite a bit of trash floating. That's embarrassing. Could use some attention. Edit: came back now that it's cold out. It was actually really nice this time. We went off the trail and down by the water where there were geese and mallards swimming. It was peaceful.
We love to bring our kayaks here. There are two sections of this park. One with the large lake, and the other side has a long bike trail and many parking spots along the way to the back of the park where there are docks and places for picnics or gatherings. The scenery is very pretty at this entire park.
I love Eastwood lake. If you just want to be on the water, it's a metropark for sure, but there's easy access to get your boat in quickly for some rowing and sitting back to watch the clouds roll by. There is some traffic noise but put your earbuds in, listen to some gentle music and enjoy. 🛶
Very hard to find the shelter I reserved. Didn't see a park map until we were right next to it and end of long road. ALOT of duck poo around shelter. Which my dog tried to eat and that is very hazardous due to disease and other transferable viruses. However, on the plus side, the scenery was beautiful by the lagoon
Very beautiful, quiet, soft grass and many areas for barbecue too.
This park is wonderful. The yellow trail is relatively flat, about two miles long, and runs along the river then circles a meadow. Lots of flora and fauna.
Really nice place. Got a little kid park. Good BBQ grills and overall very well kept. Boat ramps too. But this is not a lake. Well where I'm from. This is a pond. Where I come from a lake is only a lake if you can't see land. This is a pond. Doesn't seem to have any fish in this pond. But it's a cute little park. Our park, zoo, atrium and lake is 375 Acres. Soooooooo.. yeah. Also our zoo is free.
Visiting here evening gives you refreshing mood. Pretty cool breeze, lake side and chirping birds. Sunset is something can be seen here. The park is not that crowded and all you get is silence of mind here. The park has wide place for kids to play games, also to hangout and have picnic there. Good place for photography and to be visited with friends

Great place for dog walks (bring your cleanup bags folks - plenty of trash bins along all paths). There are two enclosed, large play areas for your dogs. Well-maintained park. Love to visit here each time I visit the Dayton area.
One of our favorite parks! Unique climbers, splash pad, toddler playground, lots of shade , huge sandbox and fenced in. Enjoyed by younger and older kids.
Iâve only been here during the winter so Iâm not sure what itâs normally like but the snow just melted so a lot of the trail was muddy. It was a short trail, a little less than a mile to do the whole thing but you should definitely go here if y
The lake is worth visiting in all four seasons. The facilities are nice and many people boat and fish here. The lake supports migrating birds. I enjoy the sunsets here. If the sky looks like there is going to be a good sunset, head to Eastwood Lake..
Beautiful park with play areas for smaller kids, small grill and seating area for gatherings, walking, hiking and horse trails. Absolutely beautiful waterfalls(at least 3) and a gorgeous flower field. A decent size river runs down the middle of the p
