7/25/24: We've been here a month now and just love it! We've stayed in a lot of RV parks and, although this is certainly not the cheapest, you get what you pay for. Good to be back in our hometown for the summer while not imposing on friends & family. Jeff and the entire staff are amazing! Very well cared for and maintained resort. We definitely recommend!
So close to downtown Grand Haven. Awesome level and paved sites. Sites are large, so you're not on top of your neighbors. Pool, pickleball, and so much more. Located right on the Grand River. Unfortunately, while we were there, they were rebuilding the docks and walkway along the river so we couldn't access the river easily. Be sure to go to downtown Grand Haven! Lots of great walking, shopping, the famous water and light show set to music. Be sure to go to Norms for ice cream!!
This rv site was very pretty but I made reservation in Jan for our spot in late June. I paid the top price for riverfront view which meant a pull in parking spot which would have our huge front window facing the river but they put us in the "new" area. The new area is still on the river but it's a back in spot. They need to be more specific on their reservation site. The other problem was the smell from the water treatment site. The grounds were very nicely manicured so I would recommend this place.
Visited my brother & sister-in-law for the weekend. Campground was very nice & clean. Would definitely stay there if I had a camper.
Had a water front site. View was great. Site was easy in and out. Site itself was pretty wide. Nice level concrete pad. Fitness center was very nice for campground. Easy access to town - took our e-bikes with no problems.
We absolutely loved the campground and amenities. HOWEVER, the smell was atrocious! The park is next to a waste water treatment facility and it smelled like we were camping in an outhouse. Everything else about the park was top-notch and we would stay again if it wasn’t for the awful smell. For the price, this is NOT what we expected when we took our class A to a luxury campground.
Such a fantastic place. Quite, secure, clean, this Is a well maintained place close to everything that Grand haven has to offer. Heated pool (bonus) hot tub. River views are something to behold. Little city traffic noise, but let that stop.you. the traffic normally stops around 5 pm. I plan to be a frequent flyer here. The staff here is something else. Very helpful. Knowledgeable about the town and what to do. Glad to help with what ever they can. And if you get the river spots they will park you unit for you. This place has all you can ask for and more. .
Very nice place. We booked two weeks here. Our site wasn’t on the water line, but we could still see the lake. The place is very well manicured and taken care off. The price was a little high, but considered this a treat since we had been in a few lower end campgrounds recently. Our dog enjoyed the doggie park and we met a lot of nice people there. The major downside to this place is the water treatment plant located right beside the resort. If the wind is just right you’ll get a good smell of the place and it’s not pleasant. Overall, the place is nice and we had a good experience here with the exception of the occasional sewage smell.
Worth every penny! Acai bowls are one of my all time favorite things to eat. I've traveled all over the world and hands down, Voyage Bowls has the best acai! They pile the fresh fruit high on each bowl. And then the drizzle of homemade peanut butte
What an awesome hot spot! â Family-owned and operated with great drinks, atmosphere, and thoughtful touches like cardboard sleeves with art by local elementary students. Community for community. Love this!
Had an amazing weekend at The Looking Glass Bed and Breakfast! This place is so beautiful with a spectacular, breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the whole vibe made me feel relaxed and at home. Just a s
My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend getaway and had such a great visit! The house was clean and beautiful and so full of late 1800s charm! The woodwork was simply amazing! The Boyden House was located within walking distance of th
My husband and I visited this restaurant before heading home from our anniversary vacation, and let me tell you!!! The food was the best breakfast I've had at a restaurant! The staff treated us with the friendliness you would expect from close friend
