We checked in about 2 or 230 on Thursday afternoon. The desk clerk was really nice. She gave us the room 131. When we went into our room it smelled like mold and when I pulled the sheets back and saw the mattress cover it had mold on it. So I went back to the front desk and asked her if we could get another room and told her that room 131 had mold on the mattress cover and it smelled like mold. So I asked her if room 119 was available because when I looked into the room it looked cleaner than room 131. She was very friendly and sweet. So she switched us to room 119 no problem. When we got in room 119 it smelled clean but when we looked up on the ceiling it had mold on the ceiling and slight water damage ,the plugs some of them didn't work and some of the lights didn't work. Overall we wasn't pleased with the room but for the price we paid I guess that's what you get. We will not be back to this hotel. And I don't see how you got a 94 on the health department inspection. Wow!!!! Please clean up the hotel or motel which ever you want to call it. But it could be a wonderful place to stay if you clean it up.
The staff was very friendly specially the front desk young boy. The room are clean and comfortable. The front desk person i forget his name but he was nice maybe he work night shift he was very welcoming. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel to family, friends and the location is really good.
Down for business and this was one of the most affordable places that we could find for the 2 days that we were in town. They are undergoing renovations, so there's fresh paint on the walls at least and I think some of the rooms had new flooring installed. They do not have a coffee pot nor they do they have a blow dryer and very limited bath products. The rooms were clean, although the mattress leaves something to be desired and we had a very, very very very small television set. They do have plenty of parking and the staff was very professional.
Was actually apprehensive bc of the price during Mardi Gras weekend. But. The room is nice and roomy, and the water is HOT! Gotta love that! Staff was super helpful, too.
Because I did not stand where the clerk wanted me to (behind a plexiglass wall), she got angry at me and said she would not give me the room and told me to leave. I could not hear or understand what she was saying behind the plexiglass.|||Worst service and most rude I have ever seen in my life. This place should not even be in business. I was glad to leave. Found a motel with excellent customer service and no plexiglass. ||Avoid this place at all costs.|
Older place but refurbished. Has microwave and refrigerator. No ice bucket but ice available. No place to hang clothes. Bed was comfortable and a/c worked well and quiet. No table. So small room so if you just need a night or two is OK.
Super awesome all the way around!!! The manager here is really on the ball. ALL of the staff were pleasant and helpful. I travel the country with my Husband following his job. We spent 6 weeks here and I'm sad to leave because this place is so wonderful. It isn't frilly but I wouldn't expect it to be at these low rates. Positives... * Wonderful staff * Clean * Decent furniture * Quiet * Wonderfully hot water in shower with strong pressure * No bugs (saw pest control twice) * Big TV with satellite * Wifi (mostly) very decent - it rarely got laggy in early evening but is to be expected when use is highest * AC's work perfectly * New fridge & microwave * I felt safe here * Waffle House next door yay! * Location is perfect * Well lit at night with 24 hr security cameras * 24 hr on duty staff * Maintenance guy is always available Negatives... * Parking is tight so my diesel excursion was a challenge to say the least LOL but that's normal for a tank * Smokers poles would be a good improvement I did observe 2 instances where staff asked people to leave but they were overly justified and staff remained professional. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Eastern Shore Motel for making this an awesome stay!!!
my fiancée & myself checked in August 6th, & check out at 11am today..the staff is really nice, i wanted a smoking room so i had to wait thirty minutes for it to be cleaned..i didn't mind! I grabbed at bite to eat at the waffle house next door, which is very convenient! Once i check it to the room..i was 100% satisfied! It smelled fresh, the air was blowing..it was comfortable! I don't have ANY complaints! & if you forget to bring toothpaste/shampoo/snacks..they have them for purchase at the front desk which the price is very reasonable!
