I started coming here back in November and I didn’t know what to expect but I can proudly say that joining this gym was one of the best decisions I made in my life. The coaches here could either be your friend or your mentor the choice is yours because there are no classes but they are always watching you and critiquing your technique and how you could improve—You might ask then why should you join? Because this isn’t just a regular boxing gym it’s really just a Big Family and the discipline that you would learn here will stay with you for the rest of your life. This gym is a hidden gem and I would recommend everyone to train here for at least just one month and see the discipline you learn! Shout to Coach Christian, Naeebel, Manny, Raul, Shaeed, and head Coach Al for making the gym a friendly atmosphere for everybody.

The coaches here are extremely helpful. I worked with coach Manny who took the time to explain movements and fundamentals for a beginner like myself. I highly recommend this gym to anyone from beginner to experts.

When I signed up to EQBC in November 2022, I was 230lbs of straight sugar water. For one reason or another, I was in a very dark place, but I knew if I pushed myself, that weight would melt right off. Needless to say, from the first day at EQBC and meeting the coaches, I knew I was surrounded by a group of guys who strive to better themselves in and outside of the gym. In what felt like a blink of an eye, I shed 55 pounds in the first 6 months of training, all via the staff's recommended program. Of course I'm no expert, but I learned a damn lot about the sweet science. I was having fun, learning a new skill, and most importantly found purpose and camaraderie at EQBC. Boxing is simply a vehicle we can all use to become better men and women. If you're on the fence about signing up, stop thinking and come for a tour. Do yourself the favor. Rob, Al, Chris, Raul, Lyndon, Manny, Nabeel...you guys helped save me from a life of emptiness, and I won't forget that. Thank you EQBC! #FindYourself

The gym you can trust and improve. I came into the gym as an introvert and a shy individual and yes the boxing gym in itself was intimidating I don’t know why I wanted to box hehe. When I entered the gym I was very intimidated with everyone cause it is a combat sport and being new is intimidating. I came in with the notion that it was a class but it is not it’s a gym where you yourself have to put in individual with program you have to follow and you have the access to the gym in their business hour. The coaches are very extroverted which as a introvert it was difficult, but their enthusiasm to make me improve was very motivating for me to open up to everyone in the gym to find out everyone leaves their ego at the door and want everyone in the gym to be the best version of themselves. This is a gym where you have to show discipline where no one is telling you what to do but to follow the regiment. You might ask what’s the point if they are not teaching you? Trust me I had that thought too, but they are always watching and will critique and help you if they see you following the protocol they set for you. First day They will introduce you to the basic training in the first day orientation. The atmosphere is competitive and friendly. The gym is a hidden gym. Thanks to head coach AL and the supporting coaches Chris, Lyndon, Nabeel, Raul, and Robert for trusting in my process and supporting and helping me to be confidence in myself.

I noticed a lot of 5 star reviews for this place and im not 100% sure what their experience was like but mine was horrible. This is not the gym for women (notice a lot of people who leave a review are men). I’ve boxed for years with many coaches. During my 1-1 session (which lasted 4 hours because “my coach” kept walking away to smoke cigarettes and talk to other members.) I was insulted many times, horrible things were said about my personal appearance, I felt horrible about trying something new, felt judged for making mistakes, and didnt feel like I learned anything. Coaches name was Chris and I don’t know how he still has a job there. He bragged about being able to say whatever he wanted and no one cares because he was that good. Only thing he was good at was making someone who was genuinely excited to try something new feel bad about themselves. If you’ve got really tough skin, like being insulted, don’t need accountability since they leave you to do your own thing more often than not, this is the gym for you. Maybe coach Al is cool but I wouldn’t know since I barely met him in passing. Gym didn’t feel safe or like a family to me. Update: Coach Al is not cool. 2 months later trying to discuss this issue and get a refund and his response to me was “sorry rick from finance will contact you” yet every person i speak to from the studio says they need to speak with the owner. Who is really in charge here? In my opinion, I was robbed $355 and no one seems to be willing to give that money back or even talk about it. They are fake and have no interest in making it right. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. .
