I took too many photos! Place is amazing with the amount of history in that building. The whole staff was very nice. I started with a tour guide, but also had kids that weren't into it as much as I was. So I'd like to go back and stay with the guide and hear what he has to say. This guy knew everything about ever exhibit. We were in there maybe an hour and that's not enough time to read up on each display. If it's close to you come back a couple times. It's worth it to get as much in as you can. I went in there as not a huge racing fan, but I quickly wanted to learn more and more about everything in there.
Great visit in a quiet setting. My tour guide was very, very knowledgeable. Entrance fee is a donation of your choice.
This is an amazing little spot with literally tons of Pennsylvania regional racing history. Antique Indians, Harley-Davidsons and race cars.
A great Auto Racing museum, and was given a guided tour through most of it by Lynn Paxton himself. Pretty cool!! A must see for any auto enthusiast when in the area.
If you have any interest in cars, you’ll want to visit this place. There’s so much to see and you won’t know where to start. Luckily, there are extremely knowledgeable and kind volunteers who are excited to show you around. If you’re lucky enough to meet Lynn, who is the retiring curator and a former racer himself, you’re in for a real treat. We were incredibly appreciative of him for being willing to give us a private tour and for sharing his wealth of knowledge. He really knows his stuff, but what stood out the most was his passion. It made for a very memorable experience. If you go, make sure to stop by the gift shop and pick up a few knick knacks or get a membership. This museum is unique and deserves the funding to stick around for generations to come. We’ll definitely be back and have already started recommending our family and friends to visit.
Nice museum in south central Pennsylvania. There are displays of all forms of motorsports. Admission is free, but they so take donations. I had my own tour guide.
This was a great experience I've been a dirt racing fan in the local area for a very long time and I don't know why it took me so long to go to this cool little museum. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great little place to take a weekend trip and go see some Sprint car, drag racing and other racing memorabilia. They operate on donations so please help them out.
My two boys love this place. There were plenty of very historic and unique collections. Inside of the building was biger than it appears. The gentlemen who guided us was so nice and well knowledgeable. I prepared some cash for donations because I read the review that there are no admission, but they accept donations. It is one of the good things that I read the reviews before my actual visit.
