East Asian Market - Asian grocery store in State College - 215 Blue Course Dr, USA

This is not my favorite Asian grocery store in State College, but it’s a convenient one. It is small but well stocked, with all the essentials.

This place has some great vegetable option, and price comparatively better than some other places. I mostly go there for green Thai chili’s, or green papaya. Huge selection for fishes and international items. They also sell utensils and million types of sauces. A good local store!

I think it’s the best place to get veggies for Asians. They are fresher and in average cheaper than other Asian stores. It may not be the best place for Asian snacks though, but it still has enough selection. The staffs are friendly!

Only place I could find the masaman curry paste I was looking for. Tried 3 Asian grocery stores, plus Giant and Walmart, before finally finding it here.

Good place for asian food grocery market. People are friendly. Veggies are mostly freshed. Even the freezed foods are comparably top notch to best big markets found around

Bought green beans cake for celebrating the Dragon boat Festival. Always love its service and good quality food.

Watch your expiration dates! Watch the people at the register! Better to pay with a card than risk getting short changed. Many things here can be found at Weis on Westerly Parkway (the largest Asian item selection outside of an Asian my) and you can avoid the register issue by ringing up your own items.

I really like the layout and how they stock everything you could need to cook any Asian inspired recipes or dish you’d like. When I was in there shopping last week , all of the employees were busy working and ALL wore masks and the cashiers wore gloves. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the many questions that I had asked. Very very clean and I think a overall nicer store than the other place. *Downside is that the building shares the parking lot with a law firm which has a lot of reserved parking spaces for their place of business.*
