The owners are incredibly kind, generous, and accommodating. The renovated rooms are such a fun atmosphere and are so unique. The view is stunning, and the backyard area is the perfect spot to sit by the fire and look out at the mountains. Super close drive to Asheville with lots of good hiking spots along the way. Can’t wait to come back!!

This place is so cool, cozy, and quiet. So easy to access the hwy to head on up the mountain. Loved this newly renovated place and will most definitely be back over and over again. Oh and the ac unit is top notch. If you like old school this is it. Thank you EARLY BLUE for a great experience!!!!

We loved the stunning location and views. The rooms are really works in progress: We had a handicap accessible room of necessity and it had 2 queen beds while a king would have been a better fit and provided more room for the wheelchair to move, and possibly room for a chair. Also the TV on the wall didn't work, and though the manager gave us another TV, elevating it on a cardboard box and with a small screen didn't work for us. The shower was one of the best hotel showers ever, but the toilet seat needs to be replaced. And the light fixture over the sink was missing---just wires sticking out of the wall. This could be a gem in a few months or a year, and then we would love to stay again!

The newly renovated room we stayed in was so cozy and beautiful. It has a little kitchenette perfect for a couple days. The view out the back door is amazing and the courtyard was so nice. They have a small barrel sauna that wasn’t ready yet but looks amazing. Dogs are also welcome, definitely will be bringing my pup next time!

We’ve stayed at the Early Blue several times now and each time has been an incredible experience! Always guaranteed a clean space. While you can’t go wrong with any room here, the renovated rooms are an absolute dream! This little oasis will truly become your favorite mountain getaway. The texts for check-in and check-out make things super quick and easy for everyone, and the hosts are so kind and have always accommodated our needs.

Room was renovated and nice, bed was very comfortable, views were to die for. However, many of the amenities were not available. Sauna not working, bar/lounge not open.

Love the room. Was very clean and nice. Just went for 1 night but I like it and I will be back. Thanks for having a clean room ready for us. I am sure you will see me again. We just stay February 17th in room 19 please check refrigerator it's not getting cold at all and the TV when you cut on and change channels it would cut off. The room are awesome but we couldn't get in office to tell you about refrigerator and TV. Beautiful views of mountains love that. Thank you for having clean room. That in itself means everything to me. Love it

Such a beautiful place to relax and unwind after a long week. The backyard is fenced with beautiful views which makes it perfect to read a book while your dogs play all day. The room was cozy with a very comfortable bed and has a door to the backyard. Loved it so much we didn’t want to leave
