Way too many rules. Can not give your kids a snack while watching their sibling do ballet. In the waiting area. Much prefer bison ridge. Nicer facility, nicer staff.

The rec center close to my house was closed, so we drove 30 mins to this rec center for the pool. The lap pool was too cold for our babies. Then we saw the therapy pool; perfect temp and atmosphere. The rules said children were allowed if accompanied by an adult and it was all-swim time. We were then told by lifeguards only adults allowed even during all-swim time. We asked where this was posted. It was solely posted on a sheet of paper on a door that most people don’t go through. They go thru the bathrooms after changing. Not posted on the rules, the website, their swim schedule, the door to the therapy pool, nor anywhere else besides the one door people don’t go thru. I gave 4 instead of 3 stars bc I do appreciate that even though they claimed adults only in the therapy pool, they allowed us to go in that day since we drove all that way and the pool was too cold for babies. I really hope they reconsider because I won’t go back if that’s the case. There is a reason for adult only and all swim times so that both children and adults can all enjoy the pools separately if they wish.

I really enjoy the therapy pool. The workers in the center are always helpful and polite. The facility is always very clean. We are amazed at how they take care of seniors and veterans with their pricing. Thank you Commerce city I would appreciate if they fixed the steam room! Also get rid of the loud noise in the therapy pool and fix the jets.

I am pretty new in town but I would give this rec center 0 stars if I could!!! I was looking for a center with a hot tub and came across this one but you cannot use said hot tub because this is a THERAPY tub. This rec center is geared for people with disabilities or senior citizens do not let their web site fool you like it fooled me. I am an extremely cold natured person who loves to swim but I find indoor pools are simply too cold for my blood. I wish there was a rec center that offered a hot tub and swimming area for the entire family to enjoy!

I love this rec center. I just wish it had more Olympic squat/deadlift racks since people don’t know how to use them properly here. There is ONE platform in this gym. Really need a few more. Everything else is fine.

The staff are great, the pool is perfect for a small group. Would purchase again. I teach a small group and this staff a Has always been there for me. Thank you!
