Positive: The location is great. Quiet area and decent maintainance. Not a luxury place but we knew that. For the price I would stay again. Negative: The sheets had a stain and the beds are very firm.
This motel was perfect for our stay in Manitou Springs! It was close to just about everything including the bus shuttles #36 and #33. The room had a king sized bed and was roomy, clean and comfortable. There was a delicious light breakfast offered each day and lots of coffee. The owners were so kind and a source of information when ever needed. Thanks for being a part of our "Bucket List" in the SW USA!!
My family first stayed at this motel in 1961. We were in Colorado for 10 days, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We hadn't planned on going to Manitou Springs, but ended up there and decided to stay were we did 62 yrs ago. THIS IS A GEM!!!! Completely remodeled, memory foam mattress and pillows, clean, everything you could ask for. The owner, Mr. Hong was a pleasure to be around and would go out of his way to make your stay great. Easy in and out, trolley stop right across the street. Just a few blocks from all the shopping. We plan to be going back and we will be staying at The Eagle Motel. You need to also!!!
Clean older hotel. The mattresses were old and sagged. We stayed two nights and there was no maid service after the first night. A cold breakfast was served starting at 7:30AM. The location was excellent as we were visiting Pike's Peak and the Garden of the Gods, both of which were only a short drive from the motel.
A family run motel with good rooms and location right on Manitou Avenue. Decor may be a little dated, but the furnishings are of excellent quality and the rooms are well maintained and, very importantly, spacious and comfortable. Mattresses are like sleeping on clouds! Our twin queen room (117) had a full size wardrobe, desk, chest of draws and a bedside chest. We could easily have unpacked and stayed here for weeks! Plug sockets with USB points were thoughtfully provided too, making our stay every enjoyable (we're always arguing over sockets for charging gadgets!) The bathroom had a tub - much needed after a day exploring - and the room had a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. We didn't use these as we were happy to walk 10 minutes to the restaurants and cafes Downtown, but they would be handy for longer stays.||We only made breakfast (7.30 - 9.30) once, due to our early starts. Coffee and juice, cereal, yoghurt, bagels and toast were available, and the hard boiled eggs and cereal bars made a welcome change to standard breakfast fare.||We enjoyed our stay here and would happily recommend!||
When we pulled up and saw this motel, I was going - "Oh. what is this?"|But the room was so nice. The bed was comfy and we slept great.|We enjoyed Manitou Springs so much we stayed an extra day!!!|Eagle Motel reminded me of my childhood when there were no Hampton Inns, |Comfort Inn ... just family owned motels ...
Such a cute little hotel family owned. And very comfy. Had everything we needed for our short stay....will definitely be back.
The owner is very friendly, courteous and provides a nice continental breakfast to get your day going. He gave good recommendations and directions. We stayed there to visit pikes peak and take the train up.

We were looking for a nice quiet spot to get away from the kids for the first time in years and found this place. Secluded and still in the middle of everything. 90 dollars for a Jacuzzi room with the creek right outside the window and an amazing roo
Absolutely fantastic and some of the tastiest BBQ I've had. Service was fast and the owner, Stephen is beyond awesome! The brisket is absolutely wonderful whether sliced juicy or chopped. The bark is tasty and smoke flavor is the perfect intensity. B
Awesome quirky local coffee shop tucked away in downtown manitou. Known for their coffee as well as their locally baked pastries, especially bagels, donuts and cinnamon rolls - check them out on the socials. Chai, matcha and bagged teas and hot choco
We loved the 11 am Lantern Tour with Mariah!! She was a fantastic tour guide with great stories about the history and haunts in the cave. The Cave of The Winds has been open since 1881 so there is definitely a ton of history to talk about. As part
Love this trail. Only issue is there are only 3 parking spots close to the trailhead. It is most likely you will need to do paid parking a few blocks away.
We loved our getaway at Blue Skies Inn, tucked into a private little spot at the edge of Manitou Springs. With a private drive, three lodge style homes housing 10 rooms, wooded surroundings and gardens, it felt like a secluded spot right where we nee
Loved it. I wish I could drink mate every single day. We got the mango and the lemon-lime iced mates and both were amazing. Super flavorful and very different from each other. Pleasant atmosphere and ultra friendly & kind staff. The avocado, veggie s
