We love it here! Very peaceful, nice and respectful neighbors and beautiful surroundings. Walks are a must when you visit. The owners are super nice and accommodating offering some amenities at the site. It's in an excellent location, in my opinion. Close to everything you need and very easy to drive around. Amazing parks, trails, lakes and places to visit. Family friendly!

We stayed here in June 2023 as we were passing through. It's definitely not big rig friendly, but we were able to make it to our spot after having to wind our way out of the other side because we turned the wrong way when we got there. For fhu, the price is really great. It's right next to the highway, so talking isn't easy if you're sitting around outside. The sites aren't very level, and there are a lot of dips and holes you need to navigate getting in and out. It looks like they are slowly turning the campground into a very beautiful one, so maybe in the future it will be a wonderful place to stay!

These guys are great!! My daughter and her fiancé moved here for a few months and these guys are the only ones that would let them set up a dog run area for their dogs. Pet friendly and people friendly. Highly recommend!

Owners were friendly. Got us in last minute when I realized I made a mistake with our original reservation for Truman Family Weekend. Close to the highway but a good price has level spots and good showers. Do not follow Google directions to enter. It is easier if you continue down the(divided) highway and turn south to enter from the larger driveway.

We ended up here last minute because a site we had reserved over 4th of July weekend at another spot was so unlevel we couldn't use it. We were fortunate they had room for us and took us so last minute over a holiday weekend. Everyone seemed nice! The park is nothing fancy -- no frills, everything is pretty old, and the sites don't have extras like picnic tables or fire pits. However, everything seemed pretty clean, the site was level and easy to set up at, and the rates were reasonable. This is right on the highway though, so it did take a bit to get used to the lights from passing vehicles and the noise, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The shower/laundry area was like walking into yesteryear with an old soda machine, puzzles on the walls and bathrooms reminiscent of my old high school...I enjoyed it, but if you want modern, upgraded amenities, this isn't the place for you. If you want a place to park your camper with little fuss and don't mind the quirks, this place is perfect.

As I drove in, I wasn't impressed. Kind of trashy. So I asked some people at a nearby gas station (who were locals) and they said further south was nicer. It just had a bad vibe for me

I stayed at this RV park for 2 weeks. Every site (that I saw) had full hook-ups and all of the trash dumpster were in reasonable distance from all camp sites. The owners are VERY nice and are willing to work with you. Cash is better in the area. If you are looking for a quiet, family friendly, and shaded RV Park this is the palce to be. The only issue we had was that we didn't want to leave. The owner (Gary) patrols the area regurarly and will do anything you need to accommodate you. Further, he has the true Missour hospitality and will conversate with you over the littlest things in life. Be sure the book in advance as the sites fill up quick. 35 Amp and 55 Amp are available, water, and sewage. We had a great stay!!! Also, the sign is easy to miss DO NOT FOLLOW GPS. Go North on Hwy 63 past the park, turn around, and then enter... DO NOT TAKE THE GRAVEL ROAD into the park.
