Eagle Lake Family Diner - Family restaurant in Eagle Lake - 185 5th Eloise St, USA

Stopped here for a small lunch on the way through. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the prices were reasonable. Would recommend.

1st visit- Efficient seating in this local favorite, bright & clean, experienced waitstaff, prompt turnaround, good food & sweet tea! Those fried home fries (also available grilled) were crispy-great! Biscuits & gravy good, a little too peppery for me. Menu built into tabletop...I liked that idea!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch while traveling home. We opted for the buffet, as it looked very good, and was hot and ready. The fried chicken was delicious! I had green beans and Lima beans for my sides. They were both perfectly seasoned and cooked. The cornbread was also superb. My husband said his slaw was good. We will definitely put Eagle Lake Family Diner on our future stop list. Our server was Brittany, and she was friendly and efficient:-)

The food is served cafeteria style, which is good because you get to see what you are about to eat before ordering. However, the food is only mediocre, I am not saying I was not happy, but I can't rave about it. High point was the rice. So good. The service is fantastic. It is easy to tell that the servers really care about the customers. Overall, not a bad experience. I would eat there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. If someone was like, "Hey, let's eat at Eagle Lake Diner." I would be like, "OK."

Love coming to this diner. The ladies are so attentive and sweet. The service is fast and efficient. I could never complain. This is why my husband and I keep coming back, week after week.

Eat here once in awhile. Met my husband gee today for lunch since he was on break. Food was delicious atmosphere great sever was kinda rude but lately that's been everywhere I go. They do need to understand it doesn't matter what kind of day they have had this is how they make their money and when there rude then I leave no tip. I waited tables for over 20 years and if I wanted to pay my bills I treated every table the same no matter what. Will I come back yes I will hopefully next time her attitude will be different.

This place was amazing. Service was great with very friendly staff. Breakfast was great and the service was also great. Food tasted great and was plenty. They were setting up lunch as they have a buffet lunch that sounded great with different food items each day. Can't wait to go back and try the lunch.

This place was great. I was doing a job and the area stopped in for lunch was quite impressed. It had a see through smorgasboard type display where some smiling. Ladies dished out the food you wanted. I ate outside as the inside was pretty full but the food was great. I'm a light eater but I cleaned my plate of everythif you're in the Eagle Lake area. This is a good stop for some good home cooked food.
