We stayed in the hotel. It was very clean and provided all that we needed. We were at a conference and the conference room had an amazing view. We also went up to the lookout and there was a spectacular view, including a handmade stone cross.
The pool and slide look very nice, hope to come back in the summer.
The fact that we could fit so many of us all in one place was so wonderful! We are chaos, but it was great being all together for a Liberty University graduation!
Finding the place on the other was extremely difficult. The signage is hard to see, and once you're in the grounds, it's a maze to get anywhere. Definitely NEED the map!
Getting to breakfast was ok. The food there was good, but the drinks were terrible! Weirdly, the best tasting drinks were the pop/soda for those not from MN! Lol But the first day for hot food choices was scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy, and warm apples! They always have cold cereal, oatmeal, and fruit. Day two for the hot food choices was pancakes, sausage, and warm strawberries. Delicious!
Above average conference facility, nice day today, can't wait to see how this weekend goes
Beautiful place and friendly staff. I really like the ice cream shop. My only negative comments were the cabins weren't very clean when we arrived and there were centipedes everywhere. I found some dead in my bed and in my shower.
I loved the place, from my church we went to a ladies' retreat and it was incredible, the power of God moved incredibly there.
The place is comfortable, everything was fine.
Awesome retreat area. It truly feels like you are in the mountains with Eagle Eyrie.
The scenery and the friendly, accommodating staff made up for anything lacking. I've enjoyed the rooms in both the Voight building and the hotels. I did find a hair in my bed and shower; that was disappointing. The menu at the dining hall is predictable. Overall, this is still a great place for a retreat.
Great getaway location. Beautiful scenery. Incredible staff.

Coming from a born and raised New Yorker this is by far the best pizza in town. And not even just the pizza everything I've had on the menu is incredible. The staff is phenomenal, you really get the family atmosphere when you talk to them. My particu

Chose to ride my bike here and visit one of my loved ones bricks, while at the same time to enjoy the wonderful views of the park. Loved the fountain and loved all the greenery. Hats off to the people maintaining this place. Would definitely be back
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful tour from Anne Spencer's granddaughter. The stories she shared of visiting her grandmother, the Harlem renaissance poet and civil rights activist, and playing in the gardens brought back sweet memories of visiti
Awesome view! Tunnel can see through Mount Rushmore Monument. Car can stop on side to take a peak for a few minutes. Our Tour Bus went through this tunnel.
What a great duo! We really enjoyed the food and the lovely couple who run the place. Whatâs more, the menu presents something quite unique, a choice between Mediterranean and Indian food, which both were wonderfully made! And the mango lhasi is i
