Impromptu date night spot- great firehouse revamp. Service is good. Food is slow to arrive for how dead the place was when we ordered. Large portions, but mid. Soda is charged by the glass. Door gets stuck letting in the winter breeze.

Way cool vibe & good eats in a cute part of Tacoma. We stopped by for the dog friendly patio option and we’re glad we did. The outdoor seating was great for us on a good weathered fall afternoon. Overall, food and drinks were pretty solid. Had a local Pilsner, some fish and chips, and the sliders with garlic fries. If we went back, we’d definitely get the sliders again. Parking was easy, prices were reasonable, and staff was nice. Loved having a pup friendly place to enjoy some lunch and fresh air.

This place is great for a family lunch/dinner. The nachos are underwhelming because of the lack of meat and cheese, but they come with olives and jalapeños, a nice change of pace. They have house made aiolis that were delicious. I'd recommend the burgers. My 11 year old liked the chicken soup. The atmosphere is great for everyone, I'd all in all recommend 👍🏽

Rob was the best. I love a good whiskey he found my best. The E9, in house cream stout was delicious. Dark beer my go to with a good whiskey. This spot is an old stomping ground and the food. Just top tier bar food. See the pics. The service 100% Thanks E9

I had told myself to make sure I take a picture of our food. I had every intention to, but when that burger came out it all went out the window. No joke that meal was bomb AF. Have not had a burger that good in quite awhile. The salad was extremely fresh and had a pretty appetizing presentation. Had to sub a salad for the taters to make myself feel good about demolishing that burger. It’s not really expensive and the food quality I feel is clearly above the price. Don’t second guess on this one. Just go for it.

E9 Firehouse & Gastropub...yes please! I stopped through for lunch and had a handmade burger patty burger that dripped all over me, and it was awesome! I haven't had such a delicious burger in a long time! I will certainly be back for more of the menu. The atmosphere from the outside might seem a little confusing, I wasn't completely sure if they were open, but no doubt they were. Park and go in! You won't be disappointed. Amazing historical horse fire station! Awesome memorabilia, pictures, etc. Check it out! Love it. I will be back!

I didn't eat however saw 3 plates I would have ordered! I loved the Cider on tap, and all of the options available. Excellent service and a perfect environment. I went for a retirement party, only expecting to stay for an hour, and stayed for 2. I will definitely come again. The rich history that their web page gave prior to my visit was like the cherry on top.

We stopped in to E9 for lunch and had a great experience. Staff was friendly and approached us immediately. My boys are obsessed with all things firefighters, so the decor and atmosphere was a home run with them. We ordered chicken strips with fries for the kids and my wife and I ordered The Ladder, a pizza off their menu with pepperoni and basil. The pizza was delicious and though not cheap, it was very sizeable and we had plenty of leftovers. The staff went above and beyond and held our leftovers for us to pick up when we accidentally forgot them. I also recommend their beer selection, which is expansive and delicious.
