E.A.T.S. Diner - Diner in Ridgeland - 680 US-51, USA

My son and I went to Eats for a Saturday morning brunch. Our experience was great. Our server was friendly and fast! The food came out so quickly that even my typically inattentive son commented on how fast the service was. I went for the pancakes because I'd heard great things, and they we thick, fluffy, and yummy. But the breakfast bowl stole the show!!! Sooooo good. I was a little hesitant to order because most restaurants don't get sausage gravy right, but EATS did. Will definitely be ordering that again on my return visit. The coffee was good, hot, and not watered down at all. My son had the good morning burger and loaded fries, which he said were both really good. Our meal was around $40 for two (which is almost unheard of these days). Overall, we had a great experience and will be going back. One thing to note is that there is a small price difference when paying with a card vs. paying with cash (not even a full 2 bucks). But it's not a surprise charge. It's noted on the ticket before you pay so you can make an informed decision.

I've visited two times now and both have been pretty good. good service both times. wasn't busy at all when we went for lunch. I wish the sides weren't charged separately but I understand it's a small business. on our first visit we went right before lunch but didn't know they weren't serving it yet so had to order breakfast instead, which was fine as it was pretty cheap. the nachos were amazing, burgers could just different/more seasoning.

10.22.2023 Immediately came to write this review as I walked out of E.A.T.S Diner. I am extremely satisfied with my first visit on today ( satisfied to the point where my partner and I stated how good the food was at least 20 times in 2 minutes ). From Google reviews and photos, I did not expect the atmosphere and food selections to be as nice as they were. Atmosphere and Service: The diner was clean, spacious, and decorated nicely. There was music playing and a TV on at the bar. The service was amazing. Everyone from the hostess to the server and busboy were polite, helpful, and professional towards us. We were greeted coming in and leaving out. Our server consistently checked in with us and tended to our every need. They even allowed a family to dine in one minute before closing, which is honestly shocking yet impressive for their service! The food: I ordered the two pancakes with sausage patties, a chicken tender meal, and beignets. The pancakes were delicious, I was even able to eat it without syrup and enjoy it! One of the pancakes were a bit on the darker side so it tasted a bit burnt, but it was still nice. Two sausage patties were included and they were delicious as well. The chicken tenders were great, but the fries were even better. The beignets were absolutely amazing! They were drowned in powder sugar, but with this being my first attempt at professional beignets, I assume that’s the point :) The food was super hot and fresh, and I give them all a 10/10. My partner had chili, the breakfast burrito, and the pancake plate with bacon. The chili was a 5/10 as a personal opinion, but the breakfast burrito was absolutely memorable. I did not taste the chili, but the burrito gained a 10/10 from the both of us! Overall, I recommend their breakfast/brunch and I will be back to hopefully eat more breakfast and try their lunch or dinner!

Summary: great breakfast all day and the rest ain't bad either. -- Went for lunch with a friend and I had the sunrise sandwich (hold the cheese) and she had the avocado toast with an egg. The sunrise sandwich was excellent! It had a lot of flavor and texture and was really filling. My wife had the EATS burger and enjoyed it immensely. We will go again when we're in the Jackson area.

I ordered EATS Breakfast with a side of bacon. Then ordered beignets before leaving. The place was spacious and the atmosphere was great. I loved all the fun decor and the ice cream bar was very tempting. I was very happy with what I ordered. The beignets were flat but the dough was tasty. I am looking forward to returning to try additional menu items.

This place was awesome! My wife and I had a late lunch there. We ordered from the breakfast menu and were not disappointed. The omelet and hash browns were phenomenal!! Our waitress was a pleasure! We will definitely be back!!

First time to visit this establishment, service was friendly, atmosphere needs improvement but food was excellent. We will add it to our eating out list.

Had a great meal at this little spot! The staff wore masks & were very friendly. Our Waitress was attentive & was assisted by other staff. Our food came out hot & fast. Everything was good, with the exception of the beignets. They were flat & tasteless. Our omelets & pancakes were very good & the price won't break the bank! We'll definitely be back.
