Duvic's - Bar in Baton Rouge - 2854 Kalurah St, USA

Giving 2 stars because our server herself was fine and the drinks/food were good, but Landon, the employee who makes the food, was one of the rudest hospitality employees I have encountered in a while. When we first started ordering, when bringing our food over, he was constantly rolling his eyes and huffing but we didn’t think much of it, thinking maybe he was just having a bad personal day. When bringing out another one of our plates, he acted like we were bothering him for doing his job and when picking up our plates (only 2 plates out of 8 were cleared) he said “are y’all done? because you’re using up all of my plates” which was so unnecessary and so rude. Not sure what he was going though, but it doesn’t give you a right to take it out on us. When bringing it up to the General Manager, Jay, there was nothing he could do because the kitchen is an entirely separate entity from the bar. Again, giving 2 stars for our server and drinks and food were fine, but Landon made us regret spending our hard-earned money there.

Ambiance was nice and as well as the service. Would definitely recommend for a chill night or casual meet and greet. Will definitely be back.

Nice little dive bar with great drinks (amazing martinis at reasonable prices) with good bar food to top it off... love this place!

Good bar, good drinks. Don't give them your card though, they will hold almost half of what your final bill is for an "indefinite" amount of time. Trying to talk to a manager to get it refunded is pointless. Have to go through your bank to dispute it instead

This is my favorite bar in BR. I adore the staff, the recently renovated food menu by The Skillet is delicious, the drinks are always on point and the specials are fantastic. The perfect mix of dive-y and home-y. I would absolutely recommend grabbing a drink and having a chat with the bartender. And don't sleep on their brunch either!!!

The staff at Duvics are unprofessional and lack any kind of human morality. Will not be coming here again due to Ill-mannered employees who can’t keep their assessments to themselves.

Amazing! Todd is the best. He makes the atmosphere. I can not wait to go back. I heard their boudin egg rolls are delish as well as their loades French fries. Can not wait to bring friends.

Bartenders have more sass than a sassafras gumbo. Bathrooms are unmentionable... and they serve food here! @LaHealthInspector Other than the cranky bartenders the wednesday night specials kinda slap tho.
