The most dirty smelly horrible Motel I have ever seen in my entire life. The carpet was so dirty and stained, the air was hot and it smelled like oily dirty mildew. Very dirty walls. All you would have to do to improve this business would be to throw all the mattresses out and bring in new mattresses, tear that nasty carpet out and put down some inexpensive wooden floors, and throw a coat of paint on the walls and provide soft clean white towels and this place could be nice. We should have known it was a red flag when we pulled in and there was only one car in the parking lot. This place does not deserve any stars whatsoever. We immediately went up to the window to get a refund. Now I have to wait 10 days to see if I'm going to get my refund back Boy I sure better!
The other travelers in my group had stayed at this motel previously & so we checked in. They said it was older but accepted pets and was budget friendly. ||||Our original room was filthy & smelled bad! The bedspread had what appeared to be vomit on the inside upper corner near the pillow and the bed had been made. The sink had rocks and ??? in it. There was hair in the sink & shower, No toilet paper in the room. There was a dirty ash tray on the nightstand. The frig was dirty inside; but the microwave was clean...One of the chairs looked like someone had sat in it daily for years with grease/oil on their pants that transferred to the seat cushion. I don't mind old or worn; as long as things are clean!||||When the owner asked how the room was, I showed him & told him it was not acceptable. He showed us another room and it was much cleaner. However it was still sub-par. We agreed to stay 1 night and then moved to a much nicer motel, for less money! We slept on top of the covers with our clothes on; after using Lysol spray on all surfaces that we touched. While packing the vehicle the next day, we noticed what appeared to be a homeless person, crawl into the dumpster. He did crawl back out after awhile.||||I do not recommend this motel to anyone! ||||I do have photos; but believe me, you don't want to see them! I texted them to a couple friends & they told me to leave immediately & were afraid I'd catch something if I stayed. The owner did change rooms for us; but we didn't stay long enough to see how other services were... My friends have said they would never return either.
The Dutt stinks and the manager is known
locally to make people feel very uneasy.
I was unable to secure my door from the
inside ( no deadbolt ) and was subsequently
robbed ( money and a cell phone ). By the way, this occurred while I was sleeping !
After I found out what had happened I
almost puked, and gave thanks to God that it was only material loss. It could so easily
have been far, far worse !
In closing, you might want to avoid said
place, or sleep w/ an attack dog !
I absolutely love this place and it is very affordable. The owner and his family are extremely friendly and treat you just like a friend. Pet friendly! I have to say this about the other reviews.... if you want something fancier or newer then go to one of the hotels that charge $89 for a night, there are many in Blythe that charge up to $109 for a room. If you want friendly and to be treated like family then stay at the Dutt Relax Inn. it's an absolute bargain.
We needed something immediately for the night and we found this. We rented two rooms for the night for $150. The only thing I didn't like was that the rooms smelled like smoke, there was no covering on the bathroom windows, and the lock on the front door didn't work. Well, lock did kinda sorta worked, but no latch to put the lock into so we could lock the front door. So, we put the table in front of the door. Didn't try shower. TV worked. Beds were firm. Pillows were nice and super soft just the way I liked it. Refrigerator worked just fine. Freezer part was nice and chilly. A few of the outlets didn't work. But to me that was alright. But not to my girls. They needed to charge their stuff. Lol The other room was pretty much the same, but the only thing was refrigerator did not work. Owners were a husband and wife. She was really nice. So...all in all it was pretty good considering we only needed a place to sleep.
This place didn't come up when I did a Google Maps search for hotels in Blythe, I just saw it on my way to Days Inn, and thought "$35/night !?" This budget motel has more amenities than the Motel 6. Microwave, mini fridge, fireplace, tv, and the bed was comfortable. Here's why only 3 stars: I was charged $6 extra for having babies with me. Cleanliness could definitely be improved, but is about what you'd expect for $35/night (before tax, if you don't have babies). Despite that, I'd stay again!
The internet did not stay connected until there was less people on it I guess. I woke up to my tire slashed and they don't have security cameras so can't do much about it. The remote did not work but it was cool to have direct tv. One of the outlets was broken, my cords just kept falling out. It needs some remodeling. But I guess it's okay if u just want a place to stay for the night at a rate of 49 dollars for 2 people (this is plus tax).
Very disgusting manager watched me and my family like we were not welcome ants everywhere not clean very low maintenance internet reception horrible I wouldn't recommend this at all never come here NEVER HURRY UP AND BYE QUICK
