Love the 1.5 mile loop trail and walk towards the marsh overlook. Love the custom bird houses along the way and local art. A beauty and close by. A must to explore.
Just went for a walk here again today, brought our dog this time. It's not too long, the trail is well maintained with very few muddy areas. It's fun to spot all the different bird houses people have hung along the trail. It's also not usually as busy as some other local trails, even though it has plenty of parking.
Dutton Island Preserve has a hiking trail that weaves in and out of the treed area and adjacent to the intracoastal waterway. Farther down is a pier that goes into the intracoastal ways. There are no restrooms, and there are a few picnic tables at the trailhead.
A little bothered by what seemed to be a questionable scare tactic coming from a hobo tent on the left side of the creek towards the left rear corner from the main entrance. Surprisingly awesome views of the Blue Angels that were in town for the weekend. Mosquitoes were nonexistent until the sun started going down. First time visiting.
Great trails, especially for mtb. Very scenic and relaxing
Great place for a calm, beautiful walk. Is dog friendly, has picnic tables along the trail for a quick rest or snack. Biking trails and more! But don't forget the bug spray!! Super important! 😄
Went here while trying to add a new fishing spot to the plate. Unfortunately, I just went to the walking path part and got in a great deal of steps. Will write a review for the fishing side once I experience it. But, never to be deterred mini-me and I, "walked it out". Has seating spots along walking paths, plus a picnic area right off of parking lot. You're allowed to take pets along as you clean up behind them.
It was a pretty neat place to visit. It wasn't very big and not really a place you can hike too much. I ran it all and it was about 2.5 miles from the park on the right to the run out to the island, running the island, and running back.
A hurricane came through about a week ago and gave us a lot of rain and so the road leading out to the island was flooded. I ran through it and believe any car could make it through no problem as long as they drive slowly (it was just deep enough to cover my shoes). There are campsites out there for tenting (not RV or trailer) and it would be a great place to camp out. Its right along the river and has a fishing spot on the north side of the island. If you had a kayak or canoe this would also be a great place to ship off.

Friendly, helpful lifeguard on duty. She got help for my companion when he had health issues.
Beach wasn't overcrowded, either.

Good food, good service, great atmosphere.
This cute little cafe uses great ingredients and quality to make itself stand out way more than any other cafe in the area. Honestly it's delectable and delightful to come here. The food is good, very good.
We live across the street from this wonderful place! We had the most delicious craft beer by Left Hand Brewing Company. I got both the hearts of palm salad and the ratatouille because I could not make up my mind. Both were absolutely delicious. I hav
The Harbor Tavern is an asset to our community. The owner and customers came together to donate used winter items for the less fortunate.
They have also provided gatherings just to love on their customers.

Great place to get good fresh seafood done right. Great selection cooked several ways, your choice. Service is fast and friendly. Good casual atmosphere nothing high end here but the food.
Nice, clean community center with a covered playground / play structure and swings for kids. They have a tennis court, one basketball hoop and a green space open area. The playground is small more interactive for littler kids. Bring a ball to play ca
