Dunmore Inn - Motel in Dunmore - 1035 Harry P O\'Neill Hwy, USA

The room was newly remodeled and very comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. Staff was friendly and gave good recommendations on restaurants, inexpensive for our 1 night stay. I would go back if in the Scranton area and would highly recommend.

It was a bit of a shock driving in because my friend booked it and neither of us expected a motel. When we opened the door I was pleasantly surprised by the renovated up to date room. However, it was freezing cold and it took quite a while to heat the room up. We went to sleep in out clothes including jackets in February. It did warm up and the layers came off. We had reservations for our trip back to Canada and we asked for the heat to be turned on before our arrival which they have done. Our room is toasty. I would stay here again for the price it was clean and comfortable.

For the price, this is a pretty good option! Dunmore Inn is a standard low-end, older motel with small rooms & just a shower stall, but what isn't standard is they are clean! After reading other reviews that stated the same I thought I'd give them a try while staying the weekend on a business trip. The rooms & amenities are a little worn but not dirty. Whoever cleans here actually does a commendable job. I've stayed at many motels & have walked out before because there seems to be a general disregard for cleanliness amongst motels, but Dunmore Inn isn't following the sleazy cliche. Keep up the good work!

This was a great stay. The room was small but but had refrigerator & microwave & hair dryer. The owners have done a great job renovating it! The price was fair and the owner was so very nice and personable! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Only a couple of things, maybe a table lamp on the end table to watch tv and maybe a hook in the bathroom for the hand towel. Otherwise, good stay!

This was an amazing place to stay. Recently renovated and beautiful! The staff were very attentive and kind. Close to everything. Very clean! Felt safe here. Stayed for 5 days and each day our bed was made and we had fresh towels.

The owner repeatedly adamantly refused to give me an invoice, a record of my stay.. Gave me a piece of housekeeping document, without signature, tax number, nothing... What are they afraid of?
