I was in the area to visit a friend. After seeing a couple pictures of the food online, I decided to check Dunkley’s out, and I’m so happy I did. This place is warm, inviting, and has great energy. The drink and food selection could please just about anyone. This place is also fortunate to have Patty bartending. Her service and kindness are top notch. She made me feel at home. Dunkley’s will be my go to when I visit my friend. My thanks to the kitchen! The chopped salad and carnitas tacos were on point.
Normally I get the Honey fried chicken which is delicious! This time they had some specials for October fest through the end of the month. I got the pork tenderloin medallions. They were so good. The were crispy, tender and so full of flavor
The sandwich was great and I really liked the ambiance. The fries were good, but I kinda wished the sandwich was bigger and less fries hehe. Service was great, very polite and friendly. I'd totally go back on a midnight craving.
It certainly is more of a tavern than a restaurant. It's not a large venue but enough to fit in about 130 people. It's a mix of 20 somethings to 60 something's. Everyone there was looking like they were having a good time and it was busy at 8pm on a Thursday. It's mildly upscale and the place was very clean and modern. The service was fantastic. The drink prices were average for the area. The food is good but 20% over priced for what it is. For example their plain hamburger is on a very nice bun with fresh veggies quality dill pickles on the side. They put two patties on it but they were from frozen and it was $11. The fries were soft and greasy. It's a nice place to hang out and relax. They didn't have any games to play which I like.
We ended up by chance in Addison because our flight was cancelled and this place was a happy little accident. It was amazing! The food, the atmosphere, and the service was all wonderful. We absolutely recommend this beautiful little tavern for anybody in the area or passing through. Thanks for everything!
Dunkley’s is the epitome of a communal watering hole with decent bites! The food was great even without a few beers in you and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We live in the neighborhood and first time here. Place is very clean. The owner came around before we ordered to greet us. We ordered the garlic parmesan wings for an appetizer. They were good but very salty. As far as beverages we had a beer, and a mixed drink, a soda, and water. Two of us ordered the featured cup of soup. We had two Dunkley burgers, one fish and chips, the other a chicken sandwich. Now for why I gave only 3 stars. This is a very pricey place. The sandwiches and entries include no soup, only fries with the sandwiches. Soup was beef barley and it was more a tomato based vegetable with some barley and loose hamburger meat for the beef. Our bill was $90. I find this extremely excessive. We could have gone to a Dappers, Highview, or 601 and got a full dinner for much less. I hope they make some changes to enable us to go out for a more affordable price to match what you get.
Their tequila lime pork chop was phenomenal and the bourbon salmon was a close second. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu.
Great little coffee shop. My daughter and I needed a place for a girls day. Inside is really cute and they have an outdoor area as well. She tried the sweet crepes and I had savory. They were so good! She also had a smoothie and Danish. I tried a cof
Celebrated my birthday with them for breakfast. Our server Danielle was outstanding. I am always impressed when the staff knows the menu inside and out. We had crepes, corned beef (house made not from the can), eggs, potato's and pancakes. The foo
Just had an awesome dinner with our family here. Delicious food. Amazing service from Antonio and crew. Team effort for sure. Everything we ate was delicious.
Felt like we were in the city. Great atmosphere.
We had such a good experience here. Our waitress was awesome even though she seemed to be working alone. The French Onion Soup was really good but could've used a little more cheese and time in the oven. The wings were cooked perfectly, and the hot s
The course is beautiful and does not play overly difficult. The bat & restaurant are very nice. The patio is stellar and I can't wait to get back with my wife. I should have taken more photos. The pulled pork shoulder sandwich with fries was very goo
I have been coming here for many years, and the experience never disappoints.
Food quality is consistent, and I feel the ingredients are of higher quality.
Can't go wrong with any burger hands down. Bread, meat, cheese, and everything else is well
