Dunham's Sports - Sporting goods store in Alpena - 2398 US-23, USA

Called ahead to verify they had gun I wanted. Drove 70 mi to get it and all the sales person in guns cared about was going home a 6 pm. Turns out they didn't have one in stock after waiting in line for an hour. 4.5 hrs total wasted

The coupon they gave the alconca tigers has so many restrictions to using it and fine print there's no reason to even list them as a supporter.

Went in a few days ago to look at weight benches and had a hard time deciding what to go with. We were helped by a very nice guy, I’m sorry I can’t remember his name, and he helped us pick the bench and bar that would be the best value for the money. Very kind and helpful and much appreciated!!

Dunhams is awesome for everything hunting, fishing and for any sports you like. Been a customer here since it opened and have always been happy with their prices and quality.

I was in Dunham’s in Alpena Michigan on 12/17/22, when we went to check out we were treated so poorly. The cashier was so rude to my husband and I. For example when I asked him if I could use my work discount. He acted like I was an inconvenience to him.I even told him I have my badge and when I showed it to the cashier he said that’s you. You need to get a new badge. Then said my work wasn’t on there list for a discount.He then said do you even need a discount. My husband and I looked right at each other and my husband words were do you want to crawl over the counter or do you want me too. Cashier then said you both must like big balls clothing.😡 This is a perfect example why people shop outside the catchment area shame on Dunham’s for even having employees like him. Employee ID number 76672 and we never received the discount.😡

Liked the staff, didn't have as much camping stuff as I thought they would.

Love it. I've been all over Michigan and visited lots of dunhams stores. This one ranks in the top 5

To the people on here complaining about the service at Alpena Dunhams, I want to defend the store by telling you that they are very short staffed. I was in there on Dec 4th buying a shotgun and had a 25 minute wait a long with 3 other customers. The associate apologized for the wait and mentioned they can't find people that wanna work. Maybe try having some patience and consideration for the employees doing the best they can, or better yet grab a application. Their human just like everyone else.
