Beautiful place to visit, it's not the gulf or the other beaches in the south and west, but it is a very nice compromise if you are around Lake Michigan

Beautiful beach with full access!
Visited in the fall and the lake views are beautiful. The water is a variety of blues, just gorgeous. We enjoyed a nice walk on the beach and I don't believe we crossed paths with a soul. It was so clear that day, we could see the city of Chicago.
Great place to take the kids to the beach. You'll rarely find yourself alone at this beach, but there will always be a spot near the water to set up camp. My kids love searching through the rocks that line the sandy shore looking for colored stones or fossils. I myself get caught up I the search with them. A great place to take the family for the day.
This beach is beautiful. Clean and easily accessed. Stop 2 has clean well maintained restrooms.
I've been here on multiple occasions when I was younger and I always loved walking all the way out to the lighthouse. Now I have a daughter almost 9 years old and I enjoy being able to share that experience with her
