My husband and I were honestly pretty impressed with what we got for the price. We only stayed for a night to attend a show at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater which was a very short drive away. The staff was kind and the room was very clean and recently updated. Biggest drawbacks were the sheets were pretty rough and the shower curtain had no liner so option was to soak the floor or soak the curtain. Felt safe and despite getting a room pretty close to the road, it was really quiet. Would definitely consider it as an option for future short stays in Bend.
Checked in Sunday night About 6pm for 1 night. Quick and painless, not much communication. Lobby desk still had plexiglass, a leftover I hope from covid. Room 216 upstairs. Small, desk, table with 2 comfortable chairs, and bed. TV, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Ironing board if needed. All serviceable. Clean all around, toilet, shower, bed floors. Clock in room said 4:20 I'm guessing 2x/day. Bed a little hard, which we like and got a good night's sleep. It was noisy however, right off Hwy 20. Monday must have been trash day, lots of noise. Checkout 11am, dropoff key, no one was at desk. Would stay again. Thanks
I stayed here 1 night and it was a pretty good experience overall. The rooms were clean and so were the sheets but they were not checked under UV. The floors however were disgusting and also the wall of the shower were definitely no the cleanest but its pretty easy to not touch them. The service was good and we were able to check in early. TLDR; good but could be better.
Out of the budget hotels I've tried in Bend the Dunes has been the best. Clean, comfortable room, hot water and good water pressure, cleaning staff respects the "do not disturb" sign, check in until 11pm, fridge and nuker in room. Only downside is that it's right on 3rd street so light sleepers might get annoyed by traffic, but didn't bother me. Would definitely stay there again.
Really great! Awesome price, Tastefully renovated rooms, Fresh and clean. And Close enough to walk to a few interesting eateries (food truck lot, Los Jalapenos etc) and the Blockbuster.
Clean room. Service was good. Needed extra coffee and came down and he let us have more. Some reviews about it being loud, I don’t think it was loud. It is on the intersection of a Main Street sure but so are all of the other smaller motels in bend. Lol just turn on the tv and you will be fine.

Made a late night booking, the service was good, the room was clean, the motel is right on the main road, yet we didn't find it loud. Good value.
