Dumont Lake County Park - Park in Allegan - 2417 31st St, USA

A quiet park with newer playground, modern bathrooms, picnic pavilion (rented from the Allegan County Parks website), charcoal grills, designated swimming area, and 550' of frontage on Dumont Lake. Note that the beach is mainly grass and there is a sandy bottom for much of the swimming area.

Been coming here since I was a kid, now bringing my own kids. Facilities are improved, nice little playground and sand castle area separate from the beach. There is still an unmarked drop-off, in the water, on the west side of the beach. (It's just outside the marked swimming area, so short folks be cautious.) The beach itself is a bit rocky and poopy or I'd have given it 5 stars.

Great place to go for a dip and or drink the kids along for a great day of fun in the sun, they have grills, bathrooms, play ground and patio area for larger parties.

It's a fairly small park, but it has a swimming area, a large pavilion, and clean restrooms. Best of all it is free.

Beautiful park! Well manicured lawn and very clean. The lake is so clear. Dog friendly and easy access to the water.

Easy, ample parking, water great for swimming and canoeing. There's washrooms.

Nice local park with decent play features as well as picnic amenities.
