We have been loyal Duluth Pack customers for years. Truly the best backpacks, bags, and other canvas storage solutions. We have purchased their backpacks, the bush crafter, lake walk totes, grab and goes, and other items. Spendy but you will never find better quality. All hand made, most to order. As a business owner I have purchased backpacks and bags for employees and they love them and they keep their gear safe. Other bags would wear out quickly, and now I have had some of these for almost a couple decades. Never have been to the store and was so treated by a beautifully laid out store with a large amount of variety of things other than just Duluth Pack. Top notch customer service whether you're in the store, Andy is a great manager; or are calling the warehouse for an order, Kristina is an excellent help and resource. Over the years I have referred many people to get a Duluth Pack and they all say it was the best thing they could get. I know these bags will be handed down to subsequent generations. Great warranty as well! An excellent Minnesota company with excellent products that have stood the test of time.

Very nice, high-quality outdoor gear, including clothing. Service was friendly. Prices were super high. Saw a very large backpack for just under $400. It was made with very high-quality leather and durable waxed canvas, but the price still seemed a bit over the top. Pretty good selection of accessories for outdoor activities. I did not see any clothing in sizes larger than XL, but this is often the case with that type of specialized clothing. Overall good experience shopping here.

It’s a really excellent selection of apparel, accessories, and outdoor supplies. It’s a store you could spend hours in checking out cool gadgets and gifts. I ended up buying a bunch of locally made candles and kept running into new products I wanted. Also, the apparel merchandising was really nice.

I'm giving my honest thoughts for those of you WANTING their first Duluth bag. Save your money. I received a back pack, and also have 2 totes. These bags while thick canvas are waaaaaaay OVERPRICED for the simple bag that really are not thoughtfully designed at all. Each size is awkwardly not spacious whether large medium or small (except maybe the large canoe bag). The dimensions on every one are wrong. Whether it is too narrow too wide or too tall and all three combined. The leather is awkward and stiff. I spent several hours working leather straps for both totes just so I didn't look silly using the bag. Ya ya time should take care of this. I won't be suing this everyday... Look these bags are not functionally designed for every day use and that's a fact and that includes the goofy 175.00 scout pack that is so narrow you couldn't fit a sweatshirt in there, yes i'm serious... no jacket or sweatshirt. It's all for show...this company's' products are all for show and not usage. Never ever would I ever buy anything else from them and especially at these prices. Some people cannot visit the company store in Duluth as I have. I received a gift that I had to exchange so I did settle for these products. But in truth I prefer my Landsend canvas, Fjallraven Canvas, and Duluth Trading canvas. The sewing and craftsmanship is no better than a Chinese bag and as I said THE BIGGEST ISSUE is not one tote or bag is properly sized for good use. Lakewalk bag too narrow and too short, Market bag too wide, Scout Pak waaaaay too narrow and boxy. I have handled and carefully inspected each style of bag and tote at their flagship store and had to settle for these to spend a gift card...Move on people there are way better bags out there. People may say ooooh how could this be they have such a great following... ya for influencers to fake a lifestyle ...it's all for show.. I travel all over and own several types and brands of even high end bags and this is just useless yuppy gear. The one star I gave for the quality or the buckles and ykk zippers. Family canoe bags from 50 years ago are far better bags. AVOID SAVE YOUR MONEY. ETA: As another reviewer suggested Frost River...wow wish had I checked them 1st. That will be my next bag.

Employees were more than helpful! Very friendly and knowledge people who fielded every question I threw at them with style and ease, sometimes grace was needed and they were0 all of that and then some. While the prices are not for the faint of heart, they're fair and reasonable considering the excellent quality of the merchandise, the construction of said and most of what I looked at and bought was Made In USA ! What they carry is the stuff legends are made of.

Great selection of packs and the flannel headquarters of Minnesota. If you’re looking for outdoor gear Trailfitters in the Fitger’s building has a superior selection. If you stop don’t miss Chachos Tacos a couple doors down, the best bites in the area.

Our daughter lives in Ashland WI so when we drive out to visit her we always stop in here and the Northern Waters fish market next door. Two fantastic local shops that are well worth going out of your way to visit. Duluth Pack store does carry some of my favorite brands but they seem to have a larger selection as well as brands I don't see at other places. Wish I lived closer!!
