Duluth Inn & Suites Near Spirit Mountain - Hotel in Duluth - 9330 W Skyline Pkwy, USA

We had a good experience here and I would like to share why! ||Good location to Spirit Mountain although current construction made for an extra few minutes drive, not the hotels fault. ||Check in was smooth and easy, Angie (I believe was her name) was very nice and personable. She asked what floor we would like and put us on the opposite end of the construction so it wouldn’t be loud in the morning. ||Room was recently updated and nice. Comfortable beds and plenty of space in our double queen. We opted for a 3rd floor room since others commented on upstairs noise issues. We also kept the fan on the air conditioning running all night so that helped with any noise. I did hear a few trucks on the hwy, but I was already awake. ||Pool was nice, hot tube was out of order for servicing but the kids had plenty to of dun in the pool||Breakfast was good/average for free. ||We would stay here again if needing a place by Spirit!

We were lucky enough to stay at the hotel this past weekend. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice & efficient. The room was recently updated and very clean, the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the pool area but it was busy and kids seemed to be enjoying themselves. Breakfast had an ok selection also. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit Duluth.

All in all, it's a pretty good hotel. The only issues we had were that the coffee bar was messy and pots of coffee out, but all empty the whole weekend, we stayed there. The breakfast area was a disaster so we did not eat there. The staff were really nice and accommodating. The hotel and rooms were pretty nice and clean too.

Insulation in this place is lacking. Heard the room above us all night practicing, what I think is safe to assume was wrestling moves. The worst part is I got charged twice for my room - I was told multiple times they were going to fix this. Days later they adjusted the second charge but didn’t get rid of it. I tried calling the hotel but phones were disconnected. Having to involve corporate now, and was told they didn’t see any charges at all. Well my bank account says differently. This whole thing has been a giant headache - what a scam operation it is. Stay FAR AWAY!!!

Beds were bad like reviews. Staff was missing on most days, no service until request from front office for towels and trash. We brought them down, and I got fresh towels. The pool was closed on Tuesday and never opened again. There is no continental breakfast on Friday. Day shift person who is to open and stock cook breakfast called in sick. The nice lady who checked us in on Sunday came in early to man the front desk was there. No staff, no pool, bad beds, company pile driving steel to repair washed out road that motel was on and bad weather in Duluth, high winds and rain. We have no plans to return.

Not a good hotel. Pool water wasn’t that warm. Hot tub closed. Our bath tub didn’t have a latch to take a bath so I asked the front desk.They said they’d check and get back to me. Never heard back…The room overall feels very dirty.

Went to room at 3:00. Smoke alarm was beeping every 30 sec. Front desk said someone would be right up. Waited an hr - no one . Requested again when we left to meet people. Came back 4 hrs later and still beeping. Room dusty. Moved next room over. Mold around window. Don’t waste your time with breakfast food or coffee. McDonalds next door much better coffee!!!

not the fanciest place but very nice that the pool was open til midnight AND they had free breakfast. I enjoyed my stay here. Coffee bar and fridge in the room and cozy comfy clean beds. Great affordable option for staying in Duluth!! Only thing I didn’t like was the people above us were quite loud late at night.
